Benediction is quickly approaching 60-40 in alliance favor

it appears that many alliance fed up with the imbalance on their original realms are xfring to bene since it was once the largest and most balanced realm. It has quickly shifted over the last week to an alliance dominated realm.

While the world still feels relatively balanced, great equal pvp at stones and out in the world, could the balance shift cause some horde to leave? Personally, I think there’s so many of each faction on the realm that even with an alliance 60-40 split the realm would still remain relatively healthy for both sides.

Yeah, like every other xfer server it’s just a matter of time till its 99% one faction or the other.

shut it down. such a server cannot be allowed to exist. think of all the hordies who get ganked there!

These large ally groups should have transferred to Whitemane or Faerlina if they actually wanted a balanced mega pop server - not a server that was already leaning ally.

One thing I really respect about the Incendius horde that transferred to my server over a year ago is that they picked a 45% horde server knowing that they’d make the balance over 50%. I know they did this as a fact because I talked to some of the leaders (who I PVPed with) who made the decision on where to go.

It is what it is though. I’d never blame any person specifically.

Lol no, more opportunities to gank and be a nuisance. Now if it were like 80-20 I might feel differently but as of now I’d rather be on the slightly outnumbered faction. As you said, wpvp seems pretty 50-50 rn

We’ll see in a few months, I left Herod bc horde are like 80-20 there now

I’m on benediction horde. Most people are cool about not ganking. My 62 warlock got attacked by a 62 ret paladin. We both died. Then I killed and camped the guy 4 more times. He should have left me alone. Filthy scumbag gankers.

Wpvp is pretty bad in TBC. Flying mounts are a awful.

I do get ganked of course. You get used to the delays when you play such a grindy game.

That’s why I quit my human rogue. I knew Bene was going to stop being a gangster’s paradise the moment the change was announced.

They wanted to make sure their faction on whatever server wouldn’t collapse in the months to come. I kinda understand the decision I guess.

Considering a ‘collapse’ is nothing but perception anyway…maybe they should stop crying that the sky is falling.

Yeah well when the sky actually falls I’ll be excited to hear your excuse.

This imo.

I’d be surprised if more than a few horde didn’t xfer from servers like Herod where it’s quickly becoming a single faction server, and I’ve talked to many horde who xferred off servers like skeram as well. I think more allies have xferred here than horde but again, it’s really not that noticeable leveling and doing wpvp

I’m glad to hear it. I came from Stalagg (transferred back when paid transfers were first implemented in Classic), and the last thing I want is to be a part of that problem in reverse. If it gets to where alliance the overwhelming majority, world pvp won’t even feel good.

Right now it definitely still does (horde controlled both layers of Halaa for a while today) but things can snowball quickly. I spent part of today going around and helping horde lowbies that were questing, for that reason. Balance is the best state of the game for all.

Didn’t retail teach us that most PvP servers eventually tilt one side or the other?

Exactly, that’s how it got on Herod. Alliance couldn’t even use summon stones a lot of the time bc there would be like 10 horde there destroying them. Kind of sad, Herod was pretty balanced if not slightly horde favored for a while.

It just wasn’t fun. Having a blast so far on benediction though!

You won’t get one.

Any collapse is whole executed by the faction which collapses.

Paid transfers to flee wpvp.
Paid boosts to chase a fotm class.
No attempt to offer anything beyond we have better queues.

Alliance orchestrated their own demise.

It’s exactly this. Notice how Mootoo left Sulfuras off the list, but it was Alliance tilted 6 weeks ago.

I stopped playing on pvp servers years ago and I will tell you why. On a long enough time line, all pvp servers become incredibly one sided. Once a server hits a tipping point it starts accelerating and before you know it… theres really just one faction left. It sucks if you are the dominant faction, and it sucks if you are the last handful of stragglers too stubborn to leave.

It was 55% About a month ago, now its at 56.5%.

Is that quickly approaching 60%? I mean it’s trending in a direction but is the sky falling yet? Hopefully enough Horde stay put on Bene to keep it fairly balanced.

We are one player base dude. This is clown logic.

I dream of just 10 horde at the summoning stones!
