Benediction has queue

it’s 16:00 server time and queue is already 7 minutes.

The most populated server has a queue just after a huge content patch? Who could’ve guessed it.

that is to be expected, but lets consider that 16:00 isnt peak hour yet…

Can you imagine the queue in 3 hours or so?

This is why there are queues.

Yesterday’s queue at around 10PM ET was at ~ 11,500 people (estimated time of ~ 176mins).

I stayed in queue for about 40mins, it got down to… 9,850 or so. Got tired of waiting, and went to bed.

Sounds like a good time to open up free realm transfers for Benediction. The Horde <> Alliance ratio is broken anyway.

Just delete all the gnomes. nobody likes them

If they do that, nobody will take them. Even if they did want to take them, where would they go? Alliance is the minority on all other PvP realms.

And send them where? The only other east coast PVP server that isn’t Horde dominated is Earthfury, which is totally dead. No one is going to move there.

Lets open free transfers to Grobb and finish off the rest of the pvp servers finally. A social experiment to see how fast we can destroy a balanced megaserver.

Damn, that’s depressing.

Perhaps they could open up free realm transfers for both Benediction (99% alliance) and Faerlina (99% horde) towards a dead server, like Earthfury.

And then… hope that creates a moderately balanced realm?

No queue yet as of Faerlina.

Ill go Earthfury with free transfers. Can’t play the game with 10k + queue : (

on incendius the queues started at noon and didnt end until 10pm.

Nothing can be done… what are they gonna do… offer free xfers to servers with nobody on them?

Maybe add more layers? currently 5 right now.

Yes lets open free transfers then in a couple months when the retail vacationers are gone. We can all come and complain on these forums on how blizz ruined benediction by offering free transfers off ot.

When will players learn.

There’s absolutely no reason, at all, Blizzard can not temporarily increase server capacity for major realms.

Will it cost a little, sure, but let’s be honest… they are making a lot right now with boosts and everything else.

It comes down to poor business ethic, plain and simple. And WoW is a business despite whatever anyone may think.

Absolutely not. Layering is what got us into this stupid mess in the first place. I’m glad to see they’ve finally put a cap on it (though they’re still completely failing to make a REAL difference).

Except that layering ruins realms. Blizzard themselves admitted that layering is antithetical to a “classic” experience and planned to stop layering once we were done with major launches or content patches. But they sure have a compulsion to bend over backwards for people whining about sitting in queues for servers that they chose to play on, so here we are with mega servers.

Get rid of layers. Bring back the queues.

If you get rid of layers on mega servers, you’d be so lagged… your pc specs wouldn’t matter, plain and simple.

Increase capacity, get rid of waits

This just promotes Anti-AFKing and botting. So you’re encouraging that. Bravo. You’ve shown how little you know. Clearly, you’re young and have no idea about 90’s MMOs, lol.
