Bellular pretty much gets it

The only thing Bellular gets is how to create clickbait titles.

I actually don’t mind listening to his content, but I’ve been tricked one too many times into clicking his garbage titles only to get a bit of generic information that doesn’t have any real meat.

Can’t there be a “win-win” scenario, where you get Mythic+ with timers, and we get Torghast w/o time pressure mechanics?

That would be dumb, unless they tied all the reward to run clear time.

If you get literally nothing for getting to floor 200, i’d be fine with that.

No, not this time. Its the most informative and concise video on the topic at hand. It really should be mandatory viewing by the devs.

And your purpose in posting is the same. To draw attention to yourself by jumping up and down and screaming “He’s wrong and I’m right. He wants to play the game wrong and needs to be stopped!”

Yeah I honestly wouldn’t mind this at all. If they have a no timer and timed version I’d be down for that. So there’s 2 playstyles for people. One balanced around a timer in mind and one balanced without a timer in mind.

So say the non timed version has more difficult mobs with complex mechanics on upper floors so it’s more about patience in each pull, pots, strats etc. Whereas the timed one is more similar to Mythic+/Visions albeit at a slower pace, that’s more focused on cooldowns management etc.

The rewards that you keep outside the tower are tied to low floor legendary materials collection and killing a boss every 6 floors. We have no idea how strong that gear from bosses is, its all placeholders on alpha right now. Waiting for cooldowns (or planning for them to be up) for a boss is accepted (expected even) behavior across most of the game right now.

Everything else you get in the tower is gone when you leave. Probably there will be cosmetics, but those are NYI.

As long as the rewards are 100% identical, I can definitely agree with this.

I’m not saying he doesn’t put out good content, but it’s sporadic and you don’t know until you watch it and that annoys me greatly. Plus considering I don’t see much of an issue with Torments I don’t know if I really believe you.

So, the people in this thread saying the same thing for two days before his video was released are just parroting him?

You mean better. If the game wasn’t getting better over time, it would have tanked a long time ago. It’s 15 years old at this point, if it didn’t improve, it would have died off long ago.

Isn’t all Movies/TV/Videos like that though? Not an excuse to ignore them.

Honestly, if you want a concise and powerful summary of what the concern is for people like me, its mandatory watching. He nailed it perfectly. Up to you to care or not.

Sunken cost coupled with lack of good alternatives

Ion has said already that there will be prestige rewards later and the tower serve as a mage tower for Shadowland.

If i can cheese the tower by playing a rogue, and resetting the fight everytime my cheat death proc, im quite confident i can reach whatever floor is required by Blizzard * 40.

I just stated my point. You ignored that and instead have just created one for me.

You don’t need to do that.

That’s a fallacy. I have 4 years of payments into my car, but I still traded it in. It doesn’t really work for games the way it does for manufacturing theory.

No, I actually think he is parroting them.

Bellular has a tendency to reach for low hanging fruit.

People grew up playing only this game. They look at it fondly no matter how much is deteriorates and morphs into a mobile esq game. Your analogy doesn’t align unless you had immense sentimental value and love for your car. It’s more like a long passed down family heirloom that is now being pissed on by your retarded step cousin.

Its a well made video, not worth being discredited, and worth watching.

Nope, enjoy me some Preach. I actually look forward to his review of Torments (which I assume will come in a few days).
