Were these people afk in the safe area? Or in the middle of the floor?
Because if they were in the middle thats on them, if they were in the safe area… its called alpha for a reason.
I mean in all fairness a lot of it simply is because GD doesn’t just watch every video that gets posted here. How can someone address Bellular’s points if they didn’t watch the video?
The click bait titles are a reasonable reason not to want to watch his videos, whilst he has some good points in a lot of his videos I honestly can’t stand his cringy thumbnails and it actually deters me from watching his videos.

If we literally went by what the forums want Torghast to be, It would be nothing but a mindless zergfest with zero level of challenge, content that is mindless and doesn’t challenge you isn’t interesting and it certainly isn’t rewarding.
On a very base level if may function similarly to PoTD, but If i had to take clearing PoTD vs doing Torghast, I’d pick Torghast any day of the week.
Isn’t the logical thing to do is just ignore the videos, in that case, instead of posting long diatribes about the made-up evils of games journalism and how Blizz is kind etc etc?
Imagine expecting people to have invites to play shadowlands, or creating critiques solely off of a few lines of text.
At least people who are watching videos are listening to or viewing other peoples experiences second hand before commenting on something. Since expecting everyone to be playing shadowlands in alpha is completely unrealistic.
Average floor seems to take about 3 minutes or so to complete. Who the hell goes from not needing to piss to passing themselves in that time?
Currently all meaningful gains stop before the timer starts anyway, legendary items only come from floors 1-10, so who cares really.

and to answer “who cares” It’d be people that wanna do torghast for fun, Especially those who you know, have things to tend to after several floors and you know want to take some intermissions.
“Players emotions can’t fit your spreadsheets, Blizzard” nails it. From how the classes play, to how progression works, it seems so logical and reasonable, but feels like it doesn’t have a spark of excitement.

Well you can take some intermission, on every floor, and floors are currently around 3 mins it seems.
But the who cares part was, not a lot of people are going to push without power rewards.
Yo hol up wayaminnit, how about, now hear me out, how about you just do the levels of the tower you need for the rewards and not the prestige? And leave the prestige things to those that chase such trifles?

Real life would be the player being able to go AFK in the middle of the run and come back and continue their recreational time without being upset/frustrated.

I also don’t see the big deal if some folks want to wait for a CD.
In raids we have lust up for every boss and you can reset it, but that alone isn’t going to give you an easy win if you don’t do mechanics.
Edit: Regardless on how one feels about Bellular, he is spot on in this video. On the harder mode, pulling too many or missing an interrupt gets you killed. This change will punish being careful while trying to clear each pack

Does it get harder based on duration, to the point where it becomes impossible to progress simply based on how much time has passed? Do you have to go faster than you might want to avoid this? It’s a timer.
