Doesn’t really look like the sword, the sword could be pushing it but not itself, could be the cocoon of an old god, thst would make more sense. So keep your eyes on this post
Even if it’s not the sword, the way it played out was so disappointing. When I entered Hallowfall for the first time I was excited and immediately thought we were going to finally see the impact of the sword but nope. Just a fancy chandelier.
It has existed since before the Sword was put into Azeroth. Please read the quests.
The sword is what made it start shifting to void.

Not only Blizzard said on Blizzcon it wasn’t the sword, but the engravings in the crystal isn’t the same as the sword in the cinematics.
We are not near silithus, and there is no reason for Sargeras sword to be imbued in light.
Also, last thing that rule this out completely:
The Arathi are there worshiping Beledar since around Mists of Pandaria, like a 30 years ago or so. Matter of fact, they explicit say in the campaing that they felt Sargeras sword striking Azeroth, and told us that this changed Beledar.
So it can’t be the sword. Sorry.

Don’t be sorry about the sword. I don’t have a horse, or a sword, in this race. You only replied (I guess) to my deflection that Blizzard never lies. An obvious use of irony. You gave some facts but are they facts if Blizzard is lying to us?

We’ve seen what the tip of Sargeras’s sword looks like. It doesn’t look like Beledar. It’s also in the completely wrong location. Remember the Sword got stabbed down into Silithus. Hallowfall is closer to Pandaria. Seriously, look at your in-game map sometime buddy.

Yes, because they are not lying, they want it to be this way. Hard to accept, but sometime you will get it.
Beledar is my summer home, it goes light and dark so often cause I like playing with the light switch…

They could be lying. Do you have any proof either way? I know I don’t.
They already said it isn’t the tip of Sargeras’ Sword. It appeared 15 years ago, way before Legion.
