Lately, I’ve been having some issues in WoW. Some of my friends are really into min-maxing, and since a lot of top-ranked players are Night Elves, they’ve started refusing to team up with me unless I change my Blood Elf to a Night Elf or another “stronger” race. I really like my Blood Elf character, and it feels unfair to be pushed to spend money on a race change just to fit in with their meta preferences.
Has anyone else experienced something like this? I know it’s just a game, but being excluded because of my character’s race feels like a strange kind of in-game discrimination. How do you deal with it when your friends focus too much on min-maxing at the expense of having fun?
If this is actually happening, I think it is more likely that these people do not wish to play with you. (at least in that content) I say these people because they are not your friends. Friends don’t do that to each other. They are just using you. Find people that always try to include you and then you can call them friends.
I refuse to play with male blood elf paladins.
Male blood elf anything. Pallys seem to be the worst though.
The second I see that portrait pop up I just leave group knowing how its gonna go.
