I don’t know… this is like millionth time the Horde says they have a lot to make up for, not only they don’t do anything about it but relapse to the old mistakes and then make some fresh now promises.
If Blizzard does include them, what will the Dragonmaw even be doing that an equivalent Alliance counterpart would not be doing as well? The Dragonmaw have to go above and beyond. The story really has to give them lots of development, otherwise its going to be another whitewash. Its just easier to start fresh, don’t the Mag’har have their own dragonmaw clan? One that is completely unrelated to the MU Dragonmaw?
Because between the Frost Wolves and Stormpikes fighting over one chunk, and the Ogres and Horde taking over the rest there really isn’t a kingdom to speak of any more.
I assume canonically that the Frost Wolves win that battleground.
Oh yea I completely agree with you then. I always liked the idea of an ennemy who you know isn’t evil incarnate, but you still must fight because their goals simply conflict with yours. I find that subtlety to be a bit missing in recent narratives
Somehow I think the Defias joining the Uncrowned is an okay move in that regard, for example. It makes up for a decent balance between having a 100% murder-oriented relationship with the player factions and being best friends with Thrall and Anduin

Which is why blizzard got so much push back for Teldrassil and BFA in general - the majority of the horde playerbase dislike the villain bat. Blizzards terrible writing in the past isn’t justification to sweep an interesting lore faction and loose end under the rug.
Afaik there’s no maghar equivalent and what makes the maghar more relevant vs any other race/faction? The dragonmaw have lore ties to the content.
I wish blizzard would convert the crossroads into the maghar capital and have the zone quests establishing themselves in their new world but we all know blizzard doesn’t like revisiting old zones/content.

They don’t. This was a sticking point since WoD was announced.
They could dwell a cool new Orc character who was a part of the Dragonmaw clan back in the day, come to the isles — be recognised by one of the Dragons who remembers them in Dragonmaw group back in the days, raising their head high and heaving out a ferocious blast from their mouth - only to have Alexstrasza curiously intercept the fireball … Then reveal the Dragonmaw orc was actually a kind soul, who was awfully fond of Dragonkind & secretly harbored them to freedom & finding them refuge of safety – A life that gave Alexstrasza hope, especially in the darkness of Grim Batol.
Horde is kind of in need of characters that aren’t evil muppets or boring weak fledglings (Like Baine became). And I feel that’d be an awesome opportunity. Even if his questline was neutral (Can be played out by Alliance) or had a Wildhammer Dwarf ‘partner-in-crime’ back in those days, which despite their factions are best buds.

They could simply add Koak to the game proper. The potential for good narratives that respect continuity here are many.
