Been inactive due to broken PC lost guild leadership, current leader won't give back

Sorry, but this is sort of on you. He can do whatever he wants because he is GM. Be sure when you’re passing leadership you give it to someone you know and trust.

nothing. you were gone for 11 months.

they have a system, that’s why you lost your guild

if you rebuild, the only way to avoid losing a guild over long absences is not have anyone promoted over rank 4 (I think)

It’s not random. It relies entirely on you being inactive for a long period of time.

 he was a rank 8, so somehow after me being inactive so long it he was able to take control of the guild

You can appeal to blizzard but I don’t know that they will actually do anything about it. That system was designed to promote someone else to guild master if the current one is off line for a certain time frame, to prevent the items in the guild from being locked up and no way to get them out again.

If possible, try to see it from the other members’ point of view. Ask yourself this question: ‘What can I do to earn the memberships’ trust?’. And go from there. I think it’s more important to earn their trust back, than anything else.

He stole it. You can say this is working as intended, but it’s theft. Just with Blizzard’s assistance. It’s a broken system. They changed the entire way guild’s are handed off just because 1% of people had a problem of a guild leader quitting. It’s hurt more people than it’s helped.

People invite whoever to their guild, and pass leadership roles around all willy nilly. Then they get shocked when they lose their guild .

As others have said. There is NOTHING you can do other than beg the new GL to give it back. let this be a lesson.
