To be fair, we know what the sets do, but we don’t know what the overall tuning will be. And that will have more impact.

Season 2 is BIS IMO with the current build and talent changes. The amount of BW uptime with season 2 set bonus is bonkers. S3 set bonus is MID with the nerfs to Call of the wild.

Seriously I don’t want my next season to be decided by someone else. I think S2 with the current build is BIS not S3 so making it able to choose would be so nice.

We already have sims. BM S2 is best for all content (Mythic+/Mythic Raid/PvP). We didn’t have the reworked Call of the Wild for Season 2 or Season 1. We also didn’t have Savagery, Master Handler, and Wild Instincts during those Seasons as well. Objectively, S2 tier sets paired with the new talents and Call of the Wild rework from this current season is going to be highest dmg in all content and will likely need to be nerfed. If you want your BM hunter to perform at it’s best, Season 2 is objectively the best right now and many who play at high levels in all content are voting S2.

This 100%. It’s really frustrating to see S3 votes based on people who think they are “blasting” +18’s and +20’s (low content). Their tier isn’t the reason, it’s the talent rework + Call of the Wild every 3 mins paired with trinkets and uncapped easy af AoE. S2 with current reworked talents blows literally all off the other sets out of the water for both Mythic Raid AND Mythic +. There is actual data showing this. I shouldn’t be surprised though, the BM population is the largest player base with objectively the largest amount of terrible players.

You’re really braindead if you can’t understand the concept of damage balancing. What does permanent uptime on 1 ability even matter if they balance damage to be at 100% total? Do you even grasp the concept of this?
“Wowie zowie LOLZ LOLZ I get +25% damage uptime 100%! I’m soooo smart!”
All that means is blizzard nerfs every ability by -10% to compensate. Now you gain nothing special from the set bonus, other than pushing that key slightly more often.
At least T3 makes the spec feel more interesting by adding more visual beasts. And the damage total would equal exactly the same 100% of S1 or S2. Anyone who doesn’t comprehend that 100% = 100% should delete their account.
