Bear Jaw DKP

You understand there are botters that farm right? Pay piggies will rmt gold and buy botted jaws on the ah from the same people who sold them the gold. And of course no real player will be able to compete with the jaw farm of the bots

That seems like an easy farm for some easy gold. My hunter thanks you but also hates you because you’re gdkp scum. Take an arrow to the knee.

You ever try farming murlocs with dozens of bots in the area?

Why would they skyrocket in price?

I feel like you’re not getting it. Literally all they are is a store of value with some slight added value as a medium of exchange.

Right. They just circulate around for the most part. You don’t actually vendor them, you just know you COULD vendor them. It’s like being backed by the gold standard.

I love how in your world people are going to farm and endless supply of useless grey items to be the sole currency for GDKPs from the limited supply of 30 bears in Feralis.

What are they? Stacks of 5? How many bag slots you think it’ll take for 100s of gold worth of bear jaws? No shot this works.

I have yet to see dozens of bots in a singular location with the exception of fishing in Menethil. I’m on Lone Wolf which is one of the biggest servers too.

Sorry, I don’t want to roll against players doing 10 dps and sucking their thumb during raids.

Much like how you raid most likely.

We need more posts about the exact same thing. I don’t think people understand quite yet.

Item DKPs are cooked because people want to use items that have actual value that fluctuates wildly. No one wants to buy mana potions for 50s a pop to use as a medium of exchange only to have them crash to 20s the next day. Bear Jaw is backed by a gold standard, literally ~1g for 1 stack. It’s a strong store of value.

You can put bear jaws under your mattress and in 30 years they’ll have retained their value.

Typical Bravado L-take. Try again. Read between the lines.

Demand. The driving idea that is “someone may have more than I do” will push people to overbuy/bulk buy these jaws so they have more chance to win bids.

What is bitcoin?
What are stocks and bonds?
The value though is generally fluid, however the desire to outbid is much more volatile. If someone wants to stock up on bear jaws to hopefully increase their chances of winning a bid, they are going to buy a lot and the people farming are going to charge to meet that demand.

Too bad I guess.
No need to show up and be angry at someone uninvolved in why your preferred loot system is being removed.

This is so stupid.

Bros literally think they’re going to:

  1. Garner enough support among the player base that bear jaws are no kidding srsly a store of value that it becomes an accepted form of currency, and

  2. Not get banned if they trade bear jaws for gear instead of gold.

I have never witnessed a more broken group of people in my life. The amount of cope in these forums could fill oceans.

The entire BJDKP group will certianly be 100s of gold by the end of the raid. You’d be spending so much time after the raid at the AH buying them, trading them, waiting to vendor, counting the stacks sonyou arent short changed
the issues just go on and on and on.

If you’re operating in Pesos and you want more dollars, you just buy more dollars with pesos. The US is always printing more dollars.

You just make more bear jaws if you need more bear jaws. There’s always more bear jaws in the cash register.

Using BJs would be bannable too as selling them is illegal in the real world
Imagine trading BJs for digital items man, that’s pretty desperate
