Within my Battle.net account Privacy & Communication settings are not updating. I’ve tried in multiple browsers, computers, and on mobile and they all have the same result. I enable some settings and they still remain turned off after saving changes.
I think it might be age related, but I’m not sure tbh.
I do see some notes there that flags were changed.
Unfortunately, we can’t really see your settings, nor does this say what was changed. A go-to recommendation is to fully relog, both game and launcher. Just to make sure it’s not an update or display issue.
You can also go into sites directly to hide your alts. I’m not sure if there are others that folks use, but the PvP checking site? If you go in and make an account, there is an option for you to associate your alts with the account and hide them all. I know it definitely covers Retail alts, but am not sure about sites for Classics/Progressive Classic. There should have been alert when you changed your Battle.net privacy settings that it may take a couple of weeks for it to be fully locked down. This is something you can do at least, in the meantime.
The How-To:
If you go to the website, across the top bar you can register for a free account (or, alternately sign in if you’ve got one already.
Search your characters by entering in the name-realm. A + symbol will show up next to the name as you search. Hit that and build your list of characters.
Go to “Manage My Characters.”
Once added to your profile, you can check the box to Hide your character. That will allow you character to be pulled up, but none of your alts will pull up with it.

If they’re whispering you or make new characters to circumvent you putting characters on ignore (which you should do for every single character they use to harass you with), be sure to submit a ticket for in-game harassment. Make sure to reference previous ticket numbers when you make a new one, just to keep it all connected and cross referenced.
