The NVidia driver download app had a new “game-ready” driver for my GeForce GTX 1660 Ti. It said it had updated support for “ray-tracing” on the Shadowlands Beta. Not sure what that is, but maybe that is causing the crashing? I’m downloading it now. (Slow internet - but will post if it fixes the bnet crash).
Did this just happen to a ton of people today? It just happened to me and 3 guild mates 30 mins ago?

Started running into this about an hour ago as well. Have a GTX1660 and updating to the 452.06 drivers seems to have cleared it up. YMMV.
Yea happening to me now as well. RTX 2070 gonna try to update drivers and see.
I´m having the same issue on my RTX 2060, drivers seem to be up to date. No updates pending.
Updating my NVIDIA Drivers has fixed this issue for me, but I also had to locate my installations of Classic and Retail upon getting access to Battlenet again.
Have an RTX 2080 and updating the drivers from the Nvidia website directly resolved the issue. The driver package that windows thinks is up to date isn’t the correct package. Go to the Nvidia website and download directly from there and it’ll resolve it.
I´ve got Geforce Experience app thing and got 452.06 driver so it’s up to date, but still not working.
I’ve got multiple people who just updated to 452.06 as well and still freezing entire system. At this point, Blizzard need to fix something on their end, because the battlenet app is the ONLY process that is causing this issue.

All my drivers are up to date game was working fine earlier this morning now freezes every time I log into battle.net app

Having same problem
Mine is working now. GTX1660. Windows was saying it was update but i had to go to NVIDIA’s website where it showed an update was available.
Purportedly, if you roll back to driver update 442.59 it works then. Haven’t tested yet, but a friend did and said it worked.

yep same thing for me but the second i open battlenet my whole computer freezes and im forced to restart im relieved to see im not the only one but blizzard needs to fix this cause ive done everything i can and its still not fixed

Same thing… it was an update to the driver. My computer said I had the latest update, but the site had a newer version and it cleared it up.
Update: updating the drivers actually did work, I’m just a moron
updated my driver and it fixxed the issue
