BattleNet ID on the forums?

I was gonna switch characters, when I hit change character on the forums, the popup showed my Battlenet ID. Is that a change or a bug?

Not currently, Wreckingball.

There is an issue that pops up from time to time where the list of characters you can post on disappear and the only thing left is the Btag. It’s a known issue that is being worked on, but it has a lot of moving parts that depend on other things, all of which amounts to it’s going to take time to see it fixed permanently.

In the meantime, if you run into the situation where you cannot pick any characters to post on because they all disappeared you can try the following that one of our regulars found that works for them:

Log out of the forums completely. Then, log into the game (using the version with the missing characters - i.e. Classic, Cataclysm, War Within, etc…) for at least one minute. Log out of the game, then log back into the forums. The missing characters should hopefully reappear.

Otherwise, just waiting a bit and trying now and then by logging out and back into the forums to see if the list updates.
