There is some bug in the launcher that I need to know how to fix. The launcher randomly decides to load onto the screen and completely take over any full screen game that I’m playing. It’s been happening all day and it’s extremely annoying.
I am playing Oblivion and in the middle of a fight and suddenly the launcher decides “hey, let’s load up, take over the entire monitor, and throw the game they’re playing into the background, so they die”.
Doesn’t matter how many times I minimize the launcher; it will keep randomly doing it. The launcher should not be allowed to randomly decide to take over my system when it’s not in use. I’m not sure if this is an attempt to get me to play Blizzard games instead of the competition, but it’s annoying.
I thought it was shut down. It’s always closed. I haven’t played WoW since Shadowlands anyway. I just reinstalled a week ago to see what was going on and if I wanted to play again. I have no idea what the launcher is doing because there are no notifications. The only thing it ever displays an ad that says Season 10 is now live.
When/if you submit a bug report, make sure to include information about your setup, as it likely would whats going on with your computer. It might also allow someone to point out options you might have which could fix it. Some things to include
Computer setup such as OS, Memory, Graphic card, etc
Screens including how many and what resolutions do they run in natively, and what are the games running in.
