I used to use battleground targets in bgs and loved it
went to download it again and it hasn’t been updated since 2016
is there another similar addon I can use for this?

Yeah BGT is broken now, it still doesn’t handle Demon Hunters right, among other things. I use Battleground Enemies now. Same idea, but I did like BGT better to be honest.

this one is good and it still works. was having trouble with addons the first day of the patch but i loaded them anyway and they worked fine.
What do you mean about DHs? I use bgtargets and they load fine for me. I wouldn’t recommend it because we had to do some manual changes to it though.
It would give lua errors when DH’s were in the map. Made the game run bad among other things I think
Oh haven’t had that happen. Worst case is sometimes in brawls, my BGT wouldn’t load, but idk if that’s the add-on or the game.
I still use BGTargets. There’s an easy fix out there that is simple enough that anyone can do it.
When this happens to me I type /bgt which will open the options then just close it back out and it should work fine.

Battleground Enemies is great! You can customize the look to stay identical to Battleground Targets.
