Battle pets in the Guild Bank

I guess this is the new normal now. They aren’t even acknowledging it as a known bug.

Another maintenance has come and gone and guild bank issues still exist. I thought things couldn’t get worse after the Activision buyout.

Hold my beer.

“If we just ignore it then the problem goes away!” - Blizzard

Found this issue as with all others. Main guild bank 47 pets, 4 alt GB’s …over 450 pets in total affected plus the over 600 items missing from those guild banks.

Dear Blizz…fix this please, I’m not in the mood to try and figure what’s missing or which pets are affected. Just fix it already!

I lost dozens when 11.0 hit. Blizz did nothing.
And now, the ones that I (fortunately) didn’t keep in an alt GBank that lost 99% of its items, are all registering as generic pet cages. It’s approximately zero percent engaging to withdraw your ‘pet cage’ stash to identify them, to figure out what you may want to sell or keep. When it was NEVER like that, ever since you could cage a pet to begin with.

How are we regressing here? So much?

Fix this, please.

Another maintenance has come and gone with no fix for this problem. GG Blizz.

First losing millions of gold from super rare items that got wiped and now this! I’m trying to pack up and call it a day with Blizz because I am sick of crap like this. I don’t know if I can trust them to keep my items safe in my guild banks. I’m trying to figure out how to store them before I walk away permanently. BEWARE, guys, guild banks obviously are still bugged.

You can’t. And not just your guild banks, but warband vank, reagent bags, honestly given the amount of items disappearing and/or becoming unusable (just scroll through the big report forum a bot), and you’ll see not just items, but reputations and more are just vanishing, and not a word avout the issues for months on end.

What used to be considered a persistent world has become increasing volatile and unreliable, and the powers that be are doing little to nothing to fix it.

They’re happy to harvest subscription fees while you refarm stuff before they delete it again though. That’s how all this has made many of us feel.

Yeah guys you are right. You can’t trust them anymore. I know both of you were active on the thread regarding missing items. I am trying to stuff it all in my personal banks but as you well said Volbider is it even safe there? What a catastrophe with no happy ending in sight. No concern or regard from Blizzard STILL on any of this!!! This thread is just one of many future threads showing that the system is still broken.

(Re-posting this from the toon whose guild bank is affected.) Please fix this issue, Blizzard. It’s also affecting our guild bank. As others have said, non-caged pets are fine. If you can loot & deposit the pet into the guild bank (non-Soulbound) then the icon and name of the pet will appear in your guild bank. However, if the pet is Soulbound when you loot it so you have to add it to your collection then cage & deposit the pet, you will only see “Pet Cage” as the name and a generic cage icon when it’s in your guild bank.

Another maintenance has come and gone with no fix. It’s like they’re just giving us the middle finger now.

Here’s a screenshot of 2 guild bank tabs with all of these caged pets that we can’t figure out what the pet is unless you take it out of the guild bank. Can’t post a link so: imgur dot com/a/EZC9JZl

This bug is ignored and undocumented. I assume this is now the new normal for banked pets.

I am hopeful it will be among the many fixes being deployed with the patch tomorrow, but I’m certainly not holding my breath.

You can somewhat work around the privileges restrictions by formatting the link as coding.  This is done by wrapping the text in question with a single ` on both sides.

Just in case anyone was wondering…

JFC Blizz, not only has there be no fix for this in over a month, but also no recognition from anyone at Blizzard about the issue. I’ve already canceled the renewal on my accounts, but was hoping that the 3-4 months of remaining time I’ve already paid for would at least allow me to see what battle pets are in my guild bank. It’s like you don’t want customers anymore.

This is the new Blizzard, cancelling your subs was the best thing you could do. It sucks, because I’m sure like myself, you enjoyed the game, but without somewhat caring and competent people behind it (which the last ones left apparently got let go in this last corporate change of hands), it’s not the same anymore. . .not to mention hard earned stuff is going poof at an alarming rate, and we apparently don’t matter enough to be reimbursed in any way, or have even earned any form of acceptable explanation or apology.

Super sucky, sorry to everyone dealing with this, if my gbank hadn’t been 100% cleaned out, I’d have broken battle pets and BoP stuff that should have been BoE too, and who knows what other craziness, I’m sure.

I also have this issue.

I was really hoping this would be fixed in 11.0.7 :face_with_diagonal_mouth:
