I’ve been trying to order something on the site to get the Bronze Murloc (first the Alexstrasza Yootooz which sold out, thanks btw, now the Deathwing plush) but the store won’t accept either of my cards on any of my devices.
To be sure it wasn’t an issue with the first card, I made a purchase on the digital store afterward which went through with no problem.
Went to my credit union today, zero issues. There are no issues with either payment source.
I also can’t log into my Battle.net account through the store on any device as I’m getting an unskippable warning saying “This connection Is Not Private” only allowing me to go back without logging in.
Playing the game? Fine.
Making digital purchases? No problem.
Making a physical purchase? My money isn’t good here.
I already emailed support, they told me to try a few things which didn’t work. Then to change the form of payment which didn’t also work.
It’s not even the first time I’ve tried to buy something on the site. I got the treasure chest a few months ago with no problem.
Try a different browser, if that doesn’t work try another device and see if that works. Hope that solves the problem for you. Also reboot your router and also refresh you network interface and restart your system then try again
Well something is blocking traffic to blizzard, it’s on your end because connection not private is your system doing it not blizzard. Try disabling antivirus to see if that helps.
Turned off my antivirus, didn’t work
Incognito mode, didn’t work
3 separate devices, didn’t work
Not even logging in and checking out as a guest each and every time just in case, didn’t work
It wouldn’t be an issue if I could just put in my card information without logging in, the larger issue is the Gear Store (and specifically the Gear Store) not accepting either of my valid cards
I do not care that I can’t log into the store using my Battle.net account. That is the lesser issue at this time.
I just deposited money into my checking account and have plenty of money for purchases. As previously stated, I was able to use the card to purchase digital goods from Blizzard after having my card declined from the Gear Store. I was also able to make a physical purchase from a different franchise with the same card while attempting to troubleshoot this again with no issue.
