Bastion spoilers

Nope.

Bastion seems to also be a choice like becoming Demon Hunter. It’s similar to the nearly impossible trials given to the individual like Illidan’s varsity track and field tryouts.

Scourge based PTSD aside, the Demon Hunters seem more like they’d be at home in Maldraxxus. Fighting so only the strong were left, willing to sacrifice their very souls to empower the strong, so that they can defend the Shadowlands? That sounds more like the Illidari.

This is, of course, ignoring that they don’t get to go to the Shadowlands because of their demon soul.

Yeesh. I knew we should’ve just used mana bombs.

This is why you use souls to fuel foul curses or soulforges to create portals or other Fel things.

Letting souls go to the Shadowlands is just bad all around.

Forsworn are clearly not the same winged entities that were joining Sylvanas and the Jailer in the Shadowlands Trailer…

The Forsworn are even shown to have the Kyrian kneeling before them in the Shadowlands Trailer… They may end up winning the conflict!

Of course we also see Forsworn in a Dungeon so either I’m wrong or their victory happens after that Dungeon(as there are 2 Dungeons per Zone and the Forsworn Dungeon could be before the Dungeon where we fight Kyrian loyalists).

Seems like we need someone to free us all from these covenants.

I’ve heard there’s this one Jewish guy who goes about breaking tablets and destroying statues, maybe we should give him a call?

There is nothing quite as culture clashing than seeing a Orc Warrior fighting for what seems to equate to Cyberman Angels. You will become like us. You will be upgraded. You will be deleted. All of those things are the same things for these bastion residents it seems.

Was just about to say, that sounds very Xera-esque.

I have no idea wth I just watched, all that’s going though my mind is: please dont ruin WoW like Star Wars was ruined. Please gawd

Hopefully the Forsworn win against the Xe’ra-esque rulers of Bastion and become the leaders of the Kyrian Covenant! The Official Trailer shows the Kyrian bowing to them at the least…

All the Zone descriptions outside Bastion and Ardenweald seem about removing the corrupt ruler in order to fix things. Maybe we are going to do the same to Bastion and Ardenweald.

Bastion being the first Zone in Shadowlands may also be the first Zone we free from tyranny with said tyranny trying to pass itself off as good while Revendreth, Maldraxxus and especially the Maw are less subtle about it.

You’re all just being weird and secular. Looking at many religious practices around the world, you see the concept of enlightenment. Being able the give yourself over to something fully without apprehension, cleaning your body, and clearing your mind is very attractive. Too bad I don’t like any of the Kyrian covenant abilities :pensive:

ITs funny how many forum posters are being quite bigoted about religion in this thread, I guess being at peace, and giving up everything for a greater good is too much for people. THe kyrian look more and more like the jedi to me every way.

Why did they use a Skyrim faction name for these guys? Can we kill some of them with pickpocketing?

Considering the failings of the Jedi code has been a major part of the series since at least the prequel trilogy, that’s not a good thing.

this is the afterlife its totally different, the kyrian have a job to do, a job that if not completed in the right way, leads to the souls of ALL the dead in the universe of wow, not going to where they are suppose to.

Secular has nothing to do with it. In fact, the idea of just being able to excise your emotions and memories in order to serve the cause seems pretty blasphemous from an enlightenment point of view. The point of this sort of thing is usually the struggle against yourself for something greater.

If you can just… delete everything that makes you who you are, there’s no more struggle. The reason that devotion tends to be admired is because it is not easy. If you remove the person, the real humanity, from the equation, it perverts the entire point.

But there literally is a struggle, did you read the quest lol?

I just rewatched the videos it appears that the forsworn are also working with the dark queen
