Weāre going to pretty much be forced into siding with the bad guys it seems.
Iād much rather side with those Black Kyrian and free Azeroth from this garbage after life.
i agree, burn bastion to the ground
The content in that video and those quests is very reminiscent of the Divine Bell and the sha. To the point that Iām wondering if that might be intentional?
The Forsworn
Rarely, an Aspirant will fail to complete a rite of passage. These once-bright souls darken and become lost, wandering the plains of Bastion to lament. Containing the Forsworn is key, for if left unchecked, doubt can spread like a disease . . .
Doubting the will of the Kyrian is a ādiseaseā. What a load of authoritarian garbage.
Might as well rename Bastion to Airstrip 1.
The more I see about Shadowlands the more I wish it was a place souls went that werenāt prepared to transition to the true afterlife for varying reasons. Maybe Uther still holds guilt over his failure with Arthas for example.
Shadowlands seem like a crappy afterlife.
Looks cool, thanks puppers

i meanā¦ bastion is basically valarjar with steroids? even then is basically the same as the ones we have seen in legion.
The point of the place is to serve others for eternity. Canāt do that if youāre pining for your old life.
I like the owl people.
Does this mean this this going to be another MORALLY GREY expansion?
Seems that actual Negative Emotions are different from Shaā¦ Sha look more eldritch tooā¦
Also it seems the Kyrian use Vesper(Classical Latin for Night) Magicā¦ The Jailer resembles the Kyrianā¦ The Jailer is Night who is a friend of Muehāzala Iām thinking.
Of course the Kyrian now serve the Arbiter who hides her face with a mask: āThe fall of night reveals her true face. She will bring only ruin.ā
Iām starting to suspect Blizzard is planning a reveal that the Arbiter is the real Big Bad once the Jailer is dead. Judging from her hands resembling Lightforged Calia I suspect that the Arbiter is imprisoned using Light and the Jailer is maintaining the lock just as Helya maintained the Halls of Valorās lock.
So what youāre saying is, the Light may have struck a bargain with the enemy of all?
Oh no itās the heartless!
Seriously Bastion is basically the Templar Order from Diablo. It was bad there and it doesnāt sound any better here.
With how unsubtle the King of Diamonds reveal was it is no surprise that the enemy of all would strike a bargain with the Light to contain the true enemy.
The Arbiter may very well be the true enemy that Sylvanas serves(the Void was quite clear that she served the true enemy and is not allied with it like she is with the Jailer) in which case the Arbiter is a master of 4D Chess.
Every afterlife is crappy.
Chronicle has referred to the Shadowlands nightmarish as realms of decay.
Bastion is no different. All of the Shadowlands is a place of torment.
The more you post about Bastion the more Iām liking it. The concept of surrendering oneās own happiness to the service of others is very Demon Hunteresque. It really pushes the question āI have sacrificed everything, what have you given?ā
Youāre choosing bastion to bash on elves arenāt you?
but demon hunters are also āi am my scarsā and this would remove their scars
Demon Hunters are the culmination of all their mistakes and choices as individuals. Souls in Bastion are more along the lines of what Xeāra intended to do.
What are the odds that Utherās arc will be about him agreeing to forget everything, since heās being corrupted by the Forsworn? I already feel like this is going to be as bad or worse than BfA.
