So how many of us must report these bot teams that farm leather or herbs. Just trying to do the entry level quests around crucible is tiring with these teams
Greetings and good morning. Welcome to Customer Support, not to be confused with Customer Service. This here is a forum for players to assist other players. Neither GMs, Devs nor QA comes to this forum so your query kind of falls on deaf ears. While we do have some pretty rad Blues here, they are SFAs and have nothing to do with this issue as they’re here to offer insight and advice, with a limited scope on things.
Now, as to what you’re asking. Blizzard handles botting on their time table. Not the player’s. It takes time for them to research the bots in order to break the bots because whack a mole banning does absolutely nothing. There is also the off-chance that it is a legitimate player multi-boxing, which while unsupported, is allowed.
Why are they still in-game? Because unfortunately there are still idiot players who use illegitimate services provided by said bots. If there isn’t a market for it, they wouldn’t bother and we would all be able to farm a lot easier.
Please continue to right-click and report. It does work, as if you’re around here for any amount of time you’ll see people here contesting their bans and suspensions when a ban wave goes out. Just do the RCR, and move on. That’s all you have to do and Blizzard will get them, but not as quickly as you may like.
Post 24 in this thread gives a good description about why they don’t just go in and ban a few bots at a time.

I’m going to go ahead and close this topic to prevent it from going the way these topics usually go.
These accounts are often stolen from other players, so we can all help in a way by making sure our Blizzard accounts are secure.
