Source? Do me a favor and quote me where I said SoD will bleed over into Era. You’re extremely confused. So, you’re agreeing with me then, when I said SoD could be it’s own permanent thing. You literally contradicted yourself. First you said SoD will be it’s own server once it’s over, then you said it’s not staying put. You can’t be a real human being. I simply said that SoD was never confirmed to be Classic+ which is true. Do you know how to comprehend reading?

In the WoWhead interview they specifically state that ‘some runes might disappear while others would be incorporated into the class’. In the Dexerto, they specifically state that ‘some of the itemization might be removed’.
If we were getting a new server then there’s zero reason to do any of the above.
While I highly doubt we’ll go to Era. I think we’re headed to what is currently dubbed Classic Progression (aka Classic Cata, atm).
Based on a certain survey question, I think Era will be transformed into an “Era Progression” type; Vanilla through to Wrath, resetting back to Vanilla. And the current ‘Classic Progression’ will be transformed into Classic"+"; basically SoD but with later expansions as a foundation.

Imagine this.
You start a topic on the SOD forum (famously a divisive community), lo and behold, there is dissent towards your opinion, but it’s reasonably put and the topic flows as conversation should.
Dissent begins to build and opinions get more extreme (again, happens in every thread)
You then post “Cry more” or “Retail Andy” or “Vanilla Andy” etc with every post (we’re getting to the dozenth time)

Once again, I get your perspective, it just doesnt make any sense. If you want to judge people based on acheivements, there are addons that can show you their top logs ingame now.
In the meantime, so many cool items never see daylight outside a few forgettable levels. We are all uglier for it.
