Now the kick in the pants

Barbed Shot damage reduced by 10%.

  • Developers’ notes: We are fixing a bug that caused Bestial Wrath to not affect damage, and lowering the base damage of Barbed Shot to keep overall damage roughly unchanged.

Then why alter anything if it will stay roughly the same ??? why put effort/labor into something that will have no overall benefit to our immediate or future viability.

Non of this addresses our base scaling issue I have increased my I Level from 401 to 407 and zero to miniscule increase to my simmed DPS.
so many of our azerite traits are not worth using.

Fix broken stuff before tweaking the little bits.

Fixing a bug (which can be considered broken) is a bad thing?

People complain about Blizz not fixing bugs. Then we also have people complain about Blizz fixing bugs. I guess there is absolutely no way Blizz or any game company is able to please everyone.

or just get the correct traits. I sim over 28k. For me the change will be a DPS increase as i have a high uptime on BW due to my built.

Just because you have the wrong gear it doesnt make things broken. Also higher ilvl does not equate to better gear all the time.

Ahh so nice of you to jump in and lord your mythic bis gear with correct itemization.

And no I cannot make extra effort to get better! My latency, age, luck and time to play does not lend itself to higher level play I have what I have that’s it!

You see I had lower item level with better traits correctly itemized for top dps but was unlucky enough to gamble spend my TR on less than perfect itemization-al gear after I got it I messed around with said itemization for AOE M+ reaping benefit.

So kind of you to point out that I had it wrongly itemized.

So now I have the traits properly itemized but sadly its an increase of less than 300 dps over my previously properly itemized 5 i level lower gear.
Maybe I still need to change my chants and gems but being short 1 DoD trait might not be worth it.

A pretty poor showing for 5 whole I levels.
Which is the prime point I was trying to make I know there will be always top build but the penalty for having a less than optimal build should not be so huge if I Level is supposedly king, fixing the less well performing traits would alleviate this

You can complain all you want about my post. Still doesn’t change the fact you keep ducking me when I offer the duel. (Lower rank than you btw but you scared) :rofl: and the fact you keep referencing my old post every week means you are clearly bothered. You have an unhealthy obsession with looking for stuff to attack on the forums it’s weird. Then again, if I had nothing else better to do with my life then I would angry and bitter too :confused:

the ilvl of azerite matters less than the traits… So you cant get the 1 mythic item… get the other 2 out of the vendor and use the heroic chest… the results will still end up better than not having it at all.

This is an MMORPG, the name of the game is grind for better gear, the game is not built to cater to the ones who will not put in the effort to get the best stuff they can. If they balanced the game around the bad players the good players would not play the game as they would be too bored and over powered.

True point as per Azerite I Level, I should have clarified that 4 of the 5 points came from Non Az gear,
The pieces were Helm 405 -420 ,Boots 405-415 Pants 400 -415, bracer 390 -415 Forest Lords RL 400 -spyglass -405
I guess my bad.

My main point was " I put the effort in and got little gain " I got less than 100 dps per I level.
Several of my alts get/got way more dps per I level.

My second point was fix totally broken traits and Talents.

So gotta ask are you OK with this ?

some traits are better than others. You could get an upgrade and replace a terrible trait and get a big increase, or you could already have the BIS traits.

I know for me when i went from one 420 chest to another 420 chest i gained 775 DPS due to gaining a better trait.
