“player engagement” is a key metric they use to justify sustainability. So it doesnt matter if its gold or money, they want the accounts resubbed. sure they prefer the money, but active accounts looks good in the earnings projections to those who dont play and dont know about the token.
if the CEOs dont know about the token the i dont even know what to say to that. thats just bad business
They ban the bots, and the bots make new accounts. Congrats nothing actually gets solved

Tokens have to come from someone paying. Blizz dont care how you got the game time. game time = money for Blizzard. also yes they like showing investors subscriber amounts.
Bobby K might know what a wow token is, but people the earnings call is held for, do they? Probably not. All they see is MAU is up YoY

The funniest are the druid bots in Tol Barad who skin every croc that’s killed.
They run away when a croc attacks them and wait beside you while you kill them.
i used to do that in OG cata and was not a bot. its free ez gold. its the same in TH with the shredders. can sit there and engineer them for hours

Can ban more and add the trade restrictions sod has on new accounts.

They ban them, the problem is the boost allows bots to get a new bot running in less than a few hours for a low price.
As much as I hate this response I am going to say as I do not agree with it:
A sub is a sub for this 20+ old game at this point for Blizzard.
