Banning GDKPs is beyond Stupid

why read it when right off the bat you are making stuff up?

Itā€™s funny how many people claim they ā€œran GDKP but never bought goldā€ and yet the price of SoD gold has plummeted in less than 24 hours after the announcement. People that are emotionally upset are either gold buyers, gold sellers, or garnering funds from the buyers. Regardless this is the best change Blizz has made in a long time.

Yes. Dude you just donā€™t have the mental horsepower to connect the dots. My goodness Iā€™m done talking in circles answering your same questions phrased ever-so-slightly different for you to try to have some " gotcha" moment. What a sad tactic.

Markets move but again, I have bought plenty of gold (and got suspensions) but never used that gold for GDKPs. I know most people who have bought gold, bought it during progression times.

I donā€™t think anyone has ever claimed otherwise.

If that is the case, then progression WITH GDKPs is 100x more beneficial to gold sellers.

Iā€™m glad GDKPs are gone.

Progression raids donā€™t do GDKP.

Again, consumables, new phase materials/boes push gold prices more than GDKPs could ever dream of.

Real progression raids also donā€™t typically RMT.

Your point?

Except they do lol read that article above and enlighten yourself.

The cost to be a high parser/speedrunner is high.

Nah not reading an article about retail. It is not relevant to SoD.

Okay but now youā€™re just making bad remarks saying top guilds donā€™t RMT. Youā€™re delusional if you think this.

We donā€™t know that though. There is zero information that any of us have to validate those claims. Its all just things we tell ourselves to feel better. I know we did it plenty of times in our GDKP, inviting the guy with a 100g purse vs the guy with a 20g purse.

Nothing was made up. Itā€™s basic economics. The amount of gold being sold back in the day vs now is astronomically different. Just like the US economy, it has grown exponentially. Gold buying was a seedy, underground practice for the first several years of WoW that was not nearly as popular. I saw a post about a level 25 staff going for 1k gold on SoD. If you think people were dropping that kinda gold in the first few months of the launch of retail WoW then you are just lying to yourself for the sake of arguing.

Youā€™ve taken this hard stance and refuse to accept any new information because you are mad GDKPs got banned. Guess what? Too bad, lmao. Boo hoo, theyā€™re banned. Enjoy phase 2. :v:

They dont.

Do you have proof?

Hahhaha! Serves you all right! :fire: :fire: :fire: I reported multiple people for this and itā€™s about time Blizzard took my suggestion :smiling_imp:

Ripping people off isnā€™t rewarding anyone but yourself. I laughed the first time some idiot asked me for gold to get an item. Iā€™m helping YOU, buddy, not the other way around. Player agencyā€¦get the hell outta here, you grubby Goblins.

Do YOU have proof? We can go around all day on this. You say they do. Prove it or shut up.

This change only affects normal joes who do gdkps and donā€™t swipe.

Swipers will still swipe and buy items for gold, only now it will line the pockets of a few people selling carry runs instead of the whole raid.

I do!

I would assume those top guilds that spend gold progressing in retail donā€™t deviate their behaviors in other world races.

It would be ignorant to assume they donā€™t spend gold because this is a different version of the same game they play.

So its a Win/Win in Blizzards mind? They either stop buying gold all together, or they might still by gold because what they use it for is far more limited.

Buying gear in a raid thatā€™s limited to 10 players is far less impactful on the economy compared to a player that buys all the Large Fans on the AH.

Just dumb takes all around.
