these gdkp discords in reality are so small and insignificant that only a minority of people will even bother with it anymore, eventually you will just get reported by someone who is mad they didnt win a item and it will all be over for the few gdkps that still remain

Why go to discord for a BFD run, it is easier than any dungeon ever released.
Also GDKPs runs need a mix of buyers and carries, so maybe the carries knew the discord but the run still needs people that actually need the items that will drop - or vice versa.

Payouts happen after the raid not before it.
It was not pointless since GDKP is now considered breaking the ToS. Now people who partake in it risk losing their accounts.
If you donât think the banning of GDKPs did most of the legwork, youâre delusional. Most people will now never even consider joining one. Prior to this announcement, a lot of randoms found their way into GDKPs. This will not be the case anymore.

RMT for run sure will still be done, But the majority of GDKps who never ever thought about buying gold, and just run for the ease or to spend gold they earned in game or to earn gold since char was geared to start with all of that will stop. RMT just goes back to discord paid runs. Punish the many cause the actions of the few.
Gold is actually going back up in price which means the demand is rising.
