Banned wrongfully

Unfortunately they have suspended me for 2 weeks when I have never bought gold.

Open a ticket and file an appeal, not a thing can be done about over the forums.

I’ve removed all the nonsense. If you continue to spread that kind of misinformation on our forums I’m afraid I’ll have to remove your ability to post.

This is not a ban, it’s a suspension.

You DID receive over 1k from an exploitive account.

Did someone pay them to send it to you? No idea, but I can tell you they don’t just mail people gold willy-nilly.

Your best defense is to not pull gold, especially larger amounts of gold, out of the mail from people you do not know.

This was upheld, because it happened.

So being mailed something completely out of my control when I 1) never visited the mailbox 2) never took or received it to my character 3) never spent it 4) described exactly what happened is grounds for a 2 week ban? Im saying nonsense when this is EXACTLY what happened!

Them mailing it - and you receiving it, two entirely different things.

It WAS pulled from the mail - with 2 items.

This is 10000% false.

I’m looking at your account, Kleek it’s not false.

Orlyia can see the logs and can see what was removed from the mail and what wasn’t. She has no reason to lie. If anything, she was trying to help you out and educate you about what had actually happened and how to avoid it in the future.

The SFAs here can also see any associated accounts. She most likely did look into the account that had the action applied. Orlyia definitely would not have said something happened unless it actually did happen.

Yeah, I know, I found it.

Your last appeal #104545331 is open and in queue, although I wouldn’t count on this getting overturned.

I’ve absolutely no reason to lie to you, Kleek.

And for the last time, please stop conflating the term ban and suspenson. They are two VERY different things.

I don’t want to cross any lines so saying it without saying it, I really have seen (or at the very least have no reason to doubt) what they described initially happen. It’s unfortunate and is harming the game love.

Please don’t bring in misinfomation - sending someone gold won’t get someone action. Blizzard can see what you do, how often you get such, from who, how often and what other things that you won’t think they knew about.

Blizzard doesn’t blindly action folks.

If you receive gold from an unknown party, just don’t accept it.

Return it if you can, or at the very least put in a ticket, and leave it in the mail.

Incorrect, 3 guildies were mailed gold purchased by a rival guild we pvpd in Felwood, and they were already overturned immedately, but 4 of us are still fighting it.

I see no ticket where you tried to report this, Kleek.

That would be your fail-safe. You still shouldn’t pull it from the mail, but there would be documentation you didn’t intend for this to come to you.

So if I sell stacks of something on the auction house and/or have multiple pages of mail and click open all, I’m just going to get suspended. Noted.

I never even logged into my account when my guildies said this was happening. I logged in the next afternoon to see I had been already suspended. I did not take gold out of my mailbox. I had probably less than 200g on me because of the black lotus prices draining my consumes.

If you just blindly pull all mail without even bothering to look, theoretically possible I suppose. AH mail and player mails look different, but you do need to look at who is sending to you - especially gold.

I was wrongfully SUSPENDED over this. I never touched the gold. I would like someone to investigate this more. This is crazy. I have opened multiple tickets since the 21st.
