My last Battle.Net account had been banned for no reason. I tried to ask why and unlock my account, but all I got was a response email tells me the decision had been made end of story.
So after that I repurchase the expansion pack and start to play WoW2 cause WoW1 is banned. Play about 15 days get a email this morning tells me my entire Battle.Net account is shun down for good. Don’t know what to do. The first time got banned the email said due to unauthorized cheat programs. The truth is I never do such things like hacks. For now I want to get a refund for the money I just spent on WoW2. And unlock the phone#. Want to add my phone number to the new Battle.Net account. Please Blizzard helps a loyal player out!
U can ask for a refund via account management.
Im gona be completly honest with you since the 2nd account got baned 2 weeks after u the first one got banned a 3rd account will likely get banned as well.
All you can do is keep apealing till they tell you to stop.
Blizzard will never tell you what triggered the ban and a apeal isnt for you to plead ur case just to get a different GM not a bot not ai a real person to review the data to make sure a mistake wasnt made.
Ontop of that the reason for the ban could be from having other programs running in the background which could be used for automation. It could also be a mouse or keyboard you use which has a rapid fire key option.
If you got banned for an unauthorized program then you are just going to keep getting banned on new accounts because the program will keep flagging you. Look through your task manager and weed out any programs that either grant remote access to your computer or involve any form of automation, even if it isn’t for a video game.
While it is extremely frustrating, blizzard will not tell you what program specifically got you banned and they do that for a reason.
Did you appeal? Or did you keep appealing when being told they would no longer review them? If you keep putting in appeals when they tell you thats it, that can get your entire bnet banned.
Other wise if they think your entire bnet is being run by gold sellers or abusing multiple licenses.
Don’t think you’d be elegible.
We may withdraw refund eligibility for abuse of this policy. The same goes for violations of the In-Game Code of Conduct or the End User License Agreement.
Something on your computer or something you are doing is triggering Warden.
Any program that allows any type of automation of the game, even if not used for WoW, can trigger it. It could be a program used for another game, something you use for work, or something you were curious about and downloaded. Again, even if you’re not using it for WoW, as long as it’s running in the active memory, it will be detected.
If you are using your keyboard or mouse software to automate any portion of of the game, like creating macros to perform more than one action per keypress or keybinding to rapidly scroll through windows or even to fast loot, that could also be detected and is against policy.
I would suggest going through your active task manager and try to determine which program is the culprit.
I do FFXIV only sometimes, they allow multiboxing. But I use other PC for that now cuz the software sometimes does not shut down properly. If you have anything like that then they can track it and ban you. Or even some software out that that people sell to you to help you remember your passwords as it is markted… many of those will falsely set out software that will falsely claim you to be a keylogger. Done any MB of anykind anywhere or got any auto fill passwords stored any place? I do not use auto fill passwords but I know a friend who does and they got banned from a different MMO because of it. Blizz already has it set up for auto fill. But you running the software for other things or in WoW can set off their same trackers that find bots, cuz two dozen+ letters being put in instantly without a shift click copy can set their trackers off too.
Some sites you visit as well can put keyloggers on without you knowing.
Any keyboard/mouse software should be safe to have installed, as long as you aren’t using it to violate the automation rules. Simply having Logitech Ghub, or whatever the equivalent is for other manufacturers won’t trigger any kind of ban unless you are actively using it in a bad way. I’ve had Ghub since day 1.
Things like AutoHotKey are never ok to have installed. Supposedly because of how it works it looks like it’s interacting with WOW even if you are not using it to automate gameplay.
I had an autoclicker on my system for a couple years without issue too. I only used it with Cookie Clicker. However this one was only active if it was specifically opened, and I obviously never opened it when WOW was running. When the Steam version of Cookie Clicker came along, people made mods that work within the Steam framework for that game so I didn’t need my autoclicker anymore.
I’ve been playing (with a couple breaks) since 2006, and I’ve never had any kind of account action.
Considering I, myself, use Logitech products with such things in their software and have a boatload of friends who use Red Dragon, etc… this is not something that should be triggering any sort of ban if it’s just innately there and not used in the game.
A rapid fire option thing if used could. Also if they use any of the macro functions they can program in the mouse software that can act like botting to a point to get someone banned.
I covered that.
