you put in an appeal via the email you were sent. Make sure the email is actually from blizz and that you are banned and that its not just a phsishing email asking you to click here to enter your details.
Check your pc system for anything that can automate gameplay, the usual culprit is a program called autohotkey which is permitted in other games and often used for work tools. But if it gets picked up as being on your system it will flag it with the scanning program
The email you received should have given instructions to file an appeal. The only way to get this looked at is through an appeal ticket. And, just so you know, Blizzard only goes by their logs and data they have on file. An appeal is only a request to have it escalated and another person to review the data.

Experiencing this myself right now, I will say ahead of time. This forum doesn’t do anything for your case, submit an appeal and hope somebody reads it.
I’ve been told by people here the reason why I may have been banned, but nothing from blizzard besides “hacks and cheats”
And was told their decision is final and they won’t talk to me about it.
Only thing you can do submit your appeal and hope, literally. There is some automated responses you will receive you have to re-open your ticket each time till a game-master actually responds too.
Did this just happen? Because I was in a mythic and it happened to me also. I have no idea wth. Samething! I have never used any hacks or anything like that. I was hacked during TBC and haven’t experienced anything like that. But I changed my password and put in a hacked account ticket, as well as an appeal ticket. I don’t know what is going on. I just came on here to see if it was some sort of mass ‘mistake’ ban wave or something. I’m waiting to hear back. Hopefully I can get this resolved. I’ve played this game way to long and have way to many memories/keepsakes/special achievements and what nots to just walk away. But if I just get the automated, “decision is final.” That I’ve been reading is what we will probably get. I may just have to walk away from a game I have loved.
Same…I have been to Blizzcon in person, watched all the live stream ones. I have EVERY collectors edition except vanilla…I have all the shop stuff, I have over 1500 battle pets, like 800+ mounts, achievements that you could only get if you played in Vanilla…If this oversight isn’t fixed I WONT be starting over. I have been a loyal blizzard gamer since I was a little kid and Im in my mid 30s now, I even have a charity server…

Breathe. I would be freaked out too under those circumstances. If this is a false positive they will fix it but it will take time.
You WILL get an auto reply at first during high queue times. They have them for various topics, but that does include appeals.
Re-open that ticket.
You will get templates back but they are from GMs who verify that you did indeed have a positive flag on the account.
GMs are not the Hacks team though. Hacks team is the one who will need to check and see if they have false positives which can take a bit. They usually end up seeing a flood of appeals, revisiting the detection criteria based on those appeals, and reversing it for everyone impacted by a false positive.
As scary as that is, I hope that is what you are facing vs a real ban. At lease a false positive can be reversed in time.
Took them 3 days to give me this response, still pushing appeals. Hope you take my advice and walk away from this forum, 72 hours till I got a GM response. Stating basically this, but hopefully yeah on-going pleads make a difference, just have to hope and wait.
I was pushing heroic raid :c Im gonna be so behind and might lose my raid spot if it takes to long. Not to mention miss all my gearing up time and stuff.
Assuming they even reverse it. I don’t see why they wouldn’t but if they don’t I wont be back man. This really sucks, it hurts me so bad. Ive been playing since 2004…20 years of my life man.
Well I’m 3 days into my process of appeals, alot of people in the discord I engage with are stressing, all I’m seeking is clarity on the rules. Below is the conclusion to my recent post, and hopefully that gives you some clarity on this forum/the process of blizzard customer support/service.
You will not be told anything, you won’t speak to anybody, and who knows what the process holds for me in the near future.
