Banned for "Afking BGs"

Well be more cautious and considerate about your fellow teammates, take a 15 min or 30 min break to use the bathroom, grab snacks, etc.

Don’t do it in the middle of your BG.

Oh yeah, I forgot I have specific control over my bowels at all times. I was born like that, I’m sure you were too.

How do you know it’s thousands? Just curious.

I’ve said it a lot. If people got banned that shouldn’t have, then I truly hope they get their appeal.

Well there’s you problem; you already gave them your money. What use do they have for you now?

I afk’d an AV and caught deserter buff after dozens of games (took a poo the same as you), played dozens of more after on the same boosted character and did not get caught in this ban.

There is no way you weren’t actively afking multiple bg’s or spamming share quest to people.

You realize people were spam reporting any boosted characters/dks/people playing south during the first days of prepatch, right? They were literally advertising they were doing it in the chat. Everything you say is just so…dumb

Yes, I am aware if you would read my reply.

grats on evading the ban? I wasn’t so fortunate. Idk what to tell you, guy. Youre using your personal anecdote as truth.

Well maybe listen to what people are telling you and maybe be a bit more truthful with what you did with your time while in the BG’s.

it is nice they have cleaned up the bg’s a bit. is there any validity to people being banned for playing objectives? they need to really spend some time on classic era west. win trading. bracket setting. grand marshals and high warlords with less than 3000 lifetime kills. multiple account battle ground que fixing. the game is unplayable with the strict harassment and enforcement of such things. I’d like to see more action after these afk bans. again is there any validity to bans for objective play?

You do no dmg if youre defending IBT or TP and no one comes because the match is over right after that so try and think a little bit

I can only assume my ban was for defending objectives since it doesn’t say what the ban is for in the email. However, that’s the only time I would have appeared “afk”. And I only did this for like 25% of my total games because at the start of my grind I was in the communal gear and any combat with another player ended in me being 1 shot.

The most effective way I could spend my time was in stealth trying to retake objectives/cyclone tanks at drek to stall for a win.

If you’re being 100% honest, then I am sorry.

I can attest that when defending recently there is not as much action, and to counter this my friends and I go and take graveyards/attack NPC’s.

All we can do is hope they reduce the ban for you at this point.

Banning people is a lot cheaper than buying server hardware.

Yes a friend and I have been playing together countless hours the last week or so and he got banned and I didn’t and we both were defending “usually” IBT together. I know he was playing. Sure some games no Horde showed up to take the tower back, and other games we would get just clapped and then stuck in the alliance base because of the ridiculous choke by IWB. Which makes you appear afk. But yes, I can confirm a friend got banned and I didn’t while defending towers and we queue’d together all week.

This is exactly it

Better off going harpy cave than doing actual objectives as low damage / healing looks to be the way people are getting flagged. Seems to be the people that played alot of hours aswell.

back in original wrath, a GM ported to me to respond to a ticket…didn’t check first that I was on the ground. All of a sudden I see a gnome falling from my point in the air to the ground to go splat. Then pink words across my screen “you saw nothing…”

Copium.

It is 100% an automated system.
