Banned and trying to talk to an actual blizzard employee

So, i got an email stating that my account was being closed because of a ban that was caused from an associated hacking/botting. I have been deployed and my son was using my account. I had just gotten back from deployment ( i have my orders as well) when i attempted to submit an appeal i was provided the most generic response and no definitive answer on does this closure mean for good, or is it a set amount of time. I have characters that were made and memories back to 2007. I just made a new account, to get a character to level 10, in the hopes that i can talk to an actual employee so i can plead my case until i can talk to someone who isnt copying and pasting a response.

When you submit a appeal it is reviewed by a human and the only replys you will get are templeted replies. No you can not talk to someone about this, Only way is via the ticket appeals.

There is no “pleading your case”. Your only recourse is to appeal via the appeal tickets you were directed to use, which will ask another GM to re-examine the only evidence that matters: Blizzard’s internal technical evidence.

After which, their response will still be form letters, one way or another.

If your son used any unauthorized software on the game while you were deployed, it’s rough, but you agreed that you were responsible for anything that happened on your account. You can appeal following the link in the email you received until such time as Blizzard tells you no more appeals will be heard and any future attempts will be considered harassment.

With ‘account closure’ they mean permanent unless you manage to appeal.

Thanks all. there wasnt a response saying no more appeals. so i guess i can try again. i just would like my legacy characters back.

If only you could get them back. Next time do not leave it where your child can access your account when your not around to monitor what they are doing. You end up being responsible for what they do. In fact best to make an account for just them, In your name of course. Keep your account info from them.

If by chance they did download and install bot software you will want to find and uninstall and delete that as warden might pick it up and get your new account banned as well. Yes you can be banned even if not using it.
