Customer service contacted me on a Saturday can you believe it. For the first time in my silence and suspension history I was given examples of my ‘toxic interaction’.
It confirmed what I believe in that, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED to talk on this game anymore. One of my ‘toxic interactions’ was “nice throw, reporting you”
How insane is that.
This is helicopter parenting by GM’s at it’s finest. There was one interaction I do admit could be a problem, but out of the eight or so interactions it was the only one. It’s funny too that about four of the interactions were from one bg where I myself was harassed for ‘not doing what I was told to do’. So the GM’s are supporting gang mentality on this one.
You are allowed and encourage to chat. Many of us do and have for decades. It takes one reported violation for an account action. Sounds like you were given an example on Sunday.
It’s likely something that you said around the time you were reported, but appears to not be the only thing reported, and may not have been the line that ended with your account being penalized.
Sometimes the system may provide a snippet of the actual entire chat conversation to you that might be close to the actual infraction. Could have been something said slightly before or after when that snipped chat occurred.
It might be, if that was the only thing that you said, but you seem to be focusing on a single thing when really the overall accumulation of interactions was the issue. I’m glad you were able to get your answer though.
No, the only chat that would have been reviewed is what was reported. If you didn’t report the behavior that you felt was harassing, it wouldn’t have been looked at. That’s not us supporting “gang mentality” or bad behavior on the part of another. You need to report the behavior, not point to it as justification for your behavior.
