I’m happy that it was taken care of. Seriously. If you are getting add-ons from curse. You are good, what ever caused this were not your standard add-ons. So please don’t get rid of those.

Thank you for the reassurance. Nothing like this has ever happened to me, I just don’t want it to happen again. x.x A little sad, maybe, but Wow is just a part of my life… suddenly losing it felt like losing a part of me. I love this game and the friends I’ve made on it, even if I’m only a casual player.
I’ll leave the addons off for now, and put back ones I find I can’t live without.

Nonsense, Many of us are here because we love the game as much as you do. If I thought I lost my account, I would most likely feel the same way.

Inactive scrolling, that you can turn on and off? This could be a possible culprit.

I didn’t even know this was “a thing”. On my PC it was enabled by default. I have now disabled it to be 100% safe.
I do run WoW full screen, so technically I could never “scroll” it when it is inactive as it’s never another window on my desktop.
Yeah, I don’t know why people are suggesting Blender as a possibility. Blender cannot interact with WOW in any way. It’s a 3D modeling program. It can only interact with standalone 3D model files, it cannot alter memory or interact with a running program.
Think Photoshop or GIMP, but for 3D models instead of 2D bitmap images.

Not going to lie I’m invested in seeing the resolution to this - keep us updated - I’ve only played 3 years - and would be absolutely devastated if this happened to me - I can’t imagine losing 20 years of an account <3

we can all guess and speculate but might never find out. Also possible the OP might not be leaving something out or not know about something on her husbands computer that might show up on the network while she is playing. So only thing is sit and wait on the apeal and if that fails keep appealing until they say no more!
