I’ve dealt with 4 GM’s about this and filed 2 bug reports and I’m still having the same problem this morning. Often when I drag and drop or right click items to go in various guild bank tabs on various characters, the items will sometimes either not move to the bank or sometimes when they do, the items vanish altogether. I was told the problem was fixed for an alt last night and this morning lost several pieces of ore that I moved over only to realize I can’t see them / they’re gone, so this problem is persisting.

Same problem here. I’m going to have to avoid using the guild bank until this gets fixed. It’s not consistent and very frustrating.

Thank you for the replies, I’m still having this issue (and on Stormrage with my alts) so I appreciate the feedback and link.
It can also happen in your personal bank as well, I lost 15x Expulsom on an alt this way.
I’ve found it only happens if you right-click the item stack to bank it - drag and drop has never failed me yet. So for items I care a lot about I always do that.
I’ve only ever seen this bug with items that can stack, especially trade goods.

I’ve had it happen with unstackable items (a couple of armor pieces) as well as stackable. I’ve also had it happen when dragging and dropping, so it’s not a right-click only issue.
Have had this problem on 2 different characters with 2 different guild banks. Have lost a pet, and a couple stacks of expensiveish cooking mats. Which makes me super, super annoyed.
Dragged and dropped a pet into my monk’s bank because she was a different breed that I wanted to keep. Vanished.
Dragged and dropped 5 stacks of Stringy Loins into my raiding guild bank. 2 of them vanished.
Not only did these items vanish, but now NO ONE can put an item in the slots that I put those items into, creating 2-3 void spaces in the bank that can’t accept items.

Just to update, Bliz is aware of this issue and it currently investigating.
I’ve made at least 3 reports of this over the past 2 weeks and I’m still loosing items trying to deposit them into bank. Today I lost 3 “Sandworn Relics” - few days ago I lost 3 different Runcarver Memories - so much for creating a legendary . One can be only obtained when you reach Renown level 40. I’m now at 80. I’ve asked Blizzard repeatedly how to obtain it again when you are past Level40 Renown – like always no response from Blizzard. I’ve lost these varios items - almost 20 now - on various toons on 2 different servers. With all my complaints filed not once has Blizzard ever responded. The only reason after 14 yrs of WoW play that I’m still on WoW is I’m waiting to see if/when Microsoft takes over that things improve or not. If not or it takes too long for Microsoft to do anything then I’ll be leaving WoW too like so many others have since Activision took over and screwed up and cheaped up the game so much.
