Ban Wave Suggestion

I think they were a little heavy handed. I know the responses I’ll get here, since people love to see others suffer. But it hurt a bit to see a bunch of warlocks take a full 2 week ban. Some of them only did this for an hour or so because guildies pressured them into ‘helping’.

I suggest that bug exploits, for untested content, be a 48hr-3day maximum.

In my view, Blizzard has set a precedent that early exploits are unpunished 80% of the time, when casual players see this pattern, they say "well shoot next time I better do it too ".

A casual player who is asked to come help farm portals, seeing a 2 week ban as first offense? I think you can get the point across with something less severe.

Just my opinion as an observer.

should ban them and delete all their gold tbh. this wasnt an “oops blizzard made something too good” this would be like finding a conditional bug that lets you craft something without consiming the materials. if i had my way, permaban.

They are removing items from what I’ve been told. But if they have data to track how much gold people made in order to remove it, why not weigh the severity of the ban on how much you did it. Some of the bans I saw the people did it for like 1 hour before raid and got nothing.

permaban all warlock players

It doesn’t matter how long you were doing it, you were knowingly exploiting a bug for personal gain

ban

What were they doing? I have 2 locks and haven’t seen any type of exploit?

After completing an otherworldly reward and the imp returning with the quest you would have another lock banish you and you could spam grab bags from the imp without ending the quest just filling up your inventory. It’s been fixed already.

I know people don’t agree, but I don’t think ANYONE should be banned for bug exploiting.

I feel it’s on blizzard and only blizzard, see the bug? Fix it and move on.

That means it’s working. It is supposed to hurt – it’s a punishment.

Stop exploiting the game.

Yeah I obviously agree, wasn’t really my point. Consistency and weighted bans is what I’m asking for. People who buy gold outright get 3 days to a week.

Your point is frankly absurd. People should not be “allowed” to exploit if they do it early enough.

Stop exploiting the game.

A 3day ban would still mean its not allowed.

No one said this. And I remember you from the hunter forum you annoyed them so much half of the forum muted you and turned you into a meme cause you just like to argue lol.

Warlocks that exploited should not only be banned, but excommunicated from the church, branded as heretics, tarred and feathered and sent to live in San Francisco in exile.

I have no sympathy for cheaters and that is the fair punishment they deserve.

Summon bots have a monopoly now, send them to another hellhole like Chicago. Any other major city would be the same because they are all blue hellholes.

Just my opinion.

A 3-day ban is a slap on the wrist. People would still take the risk if they knew the worst they could get is a 3 day ban.

Here is where you imply that because Blizzard set a precedent, it means that early exploiters should should get off easy.

  1. Never happened
  2. Not relevant

Call robocop. call the pope. Tell em who dun it.

how did you turn this political???

Its exact replies this why they muted you lol, line by line, forums as a sport. lmao. You’ve been doing this for years.

Right, sureeeeee.

Anyway, do you plan on replying to the points made that are relevant to your topic or are you just going to continue making things up?

nope my OP was my opinion people can read it if they want. Not here to debate for dopamine

Well I’ve read it and it’ll never happen. Blizzard and legitimate players don’t want to see cheaters overlooked.

A full 2 week ban for this is completely appropriate.
