I was recently removed from my raid group for being a “low parser”, I don’t understand what parsing is aside from giving some kind of breakdown at the end of a raid but I always saw myself at the top or close to the top of the DPS charts on every fight so I assumed I was doing well.
Apparently in order to stick around in certain raid groups you need to parse well and in reality all it does is restrict your gameplay by forcing you to play a specific way in order to min/max a parse that honestly is irrelevant unless you’re some weirdo gatekeeper.
I propose a ban to WacraftLogs and completely shutting down any sort of in-game conversation or request to view logs.
Everyone should have the freedom to join whatever raid group they want regardless of parses.
I don’t need advice, I would just like to be able to play the game in peace without people berating me over “logs”, this concept shouldn’t exist in our Community as it is toxic and non-inclusive of everyone.
I don’t want everyone in my speed runs so , how about play with groups of your level and don’t bring the invite everyone mentality to groups that want to move fast
It shouldn’t matter if you’re hardcore or not, we’re all the same community and should be allowed in every group and not gatekept due to “Logs” or “Parses” this goes against the Community code.
