Stew is in the dictionary. It’s also a perfectly valid name for a Human character.

In fairness there are a lot of people that just hang out there with friends because it’s lively & people chat. Not everyone is there for “that”, although I’m sure most are.

I’m curious, is there any official rule for racial name by Blizzard, a naming convention or something like that?
I just made up my name when I get tired of the randomize button giving me names that are too long or too awkward or I wouldn’t know how to pronounce confidently or taken.

I was more meaning names that are so extravagant for like say a troll or elf idk that wouldn’t match the race like you wouldn’t see a Blood elf with a Night elf name etc.

Blizzard’s rules are basically “Hey follow the usual rules and also try to keep it vaguely fantasy on RP realms”.
Naming conventions in WoW are too vague / nonexistent for some races to try and force them.
Eek, I dislike using third party for my own name. If it doesn’t come from first party, I’d rather make up my own, though it’d be nice if there is some rule/convention from first party I can follow in making a name.

Most of my character’s names on RP servers are made up as well because I like short names not the multi syllable ones you get from the name generator.

Ah, ok. Well, I like the name I’ve chosen…well, there are other names I like even more, but this is already part of my forum identity, so I guess I’ll stick with it.
