There are A LOT of degenerate players in Classic. For whatever reason Classic was hijacked by the worst types of gamers(RMT, skip as much content as possible to get to “end game”, parse culture, and the streamers who push all of the above and take part in it).

It’s actually rather sad that people are playing a game made for nostalgia, paying to play said game, paying even more to not play the game they pay to play, then spending even more money to experience less of the end game so they can raise a rather arbitrary number on a third party site. It’s like putting the bumpers up at the bowling alley for an ego boost, but these people pay thousands of dollars to do it

The fact you are saying classic has brought in the worst players because they are buying things and skipping content and at the same time advocating for legendries to be purchased via the store and to skip the content to earn those legendries is 1000% relevant.

hold my cane for a second, sonny. back in my day we had to buy a magazine or an actual *gasp* book that had level walk throughs of games. Including the series of Alliance and Horde leveling guides you can still buy today off of Amazon. For Nintendo games, you could find map/level walk throughs in Nintendo Power magazine. RestedXP and the addon just makes it easier to follow the guide, but video game guides have been around for longer than most of the player base I would imagine.
