People need to get paid for their work somehow. Blizzard doesn’t work for free, why should you?
GDKPs didn’t destroy squat. That’s an objective fact. If you simply don’t go to the raids, your experience is no different with them existing vs not existing. It never seems to occur to some people that the thing they lobby against, they could simply not use.
You keep spewing this imaginary rubbish. The game has always had the things you complain about. But the fact is, you don’t have to buy any of them. Stop acting like they’re ruining your game somehow. They never did, and never will. That said, if what other players are doing in a game you play, stop you from enjoying it, then play a different game. Perhaps a MMO isn’t for you. Maybe you should stick to SPs. I for example don’t like PVP shooters. But you won’t see me in a forum complaining about them. I simply don’t play PVP shooters. I stick to SP shooters or group campaigns.
Plenty of mod makers that do substantially more work than people making WAs and addons who do it for free. Why? Practice in the industry and because it’s a hobby.
GDKPs did destroy a lot, most of the nostalgia in fact, because it flooded the game with man children who RMT for quick dopamine. Paid addons, boosting, wow tokens etc are all a symptom of the type of community that produced the desire for botted gold and GDKPs. You people are silly trying to cope with it all and dismiss the very clear link when anyone just starting out in WoW can see it right away when they go into game. It drives casuals away and attracts more degenerate behavior.
