Ban multiboxing

Mass flagging itself doesn’t inherently warrant a suspension. What was the reason given for your suspension? Or can you anti-boxers not spout your rhetoric without lying constantly?

well in order to lose an argument there has to be one in the first place but Blizzard won this fight before it even started

BLIZZARD HAS ALREADY STATED MANY TIMES THAT MULTI-BOXING IS NOT AGAINST THE RULES AND IT NEVER HAS BEEN

I think some botters do use multiboxing to herb. Then if you complain everyone just goes “multiboxing is not botting” without thinking 4th dimensionally. What if a botter is using multiboxing?

I have taken out the lead of some of these chains with the all seer’s eye toy. Some just switch leads right away. Other times the entire chain goes down and then they are killed by the local wildlife and the multiboxer is down for the rest of the day.

The ones that get disabled are using botting software in my opinion and the person running it was not watching the screen or at home. That is just my opinion.

Someone told me that multibox farming somehow reduces botting, as if bots couldn’t run in sequence.

Botting is already against the rules though, so you can just report them and move on. There’s no need to make a thread asking for Blizzard to ban them if they’re already breaking the rules.

then Blizzard will catch them but that doesn’t change the fact players are trying to justify an expectation for a thing that Blizzard has already long established as not being illegal by their standards and they cant accept the fact that Blizz is not going to waste time on a non issue like that

I didn’t make a thread.

Times change. What worked fifteen years ago doesn’t always apply to today, much like real life laws.

I never said multiboxing was wrong.

The only reason we have these threads is because people only care about multiboxing itself. They don’t care about any potential botters using multiboxing.

Sadly, this doesn’t mean that’s their stance forever.
Ever heard of the Wall of NO? It was there to put down the idea of a Blizzard run Vanilla WoW server… Well it took years, but that wall finally came down.

However, as it stands, Blizz is cool with muliboxing.

ok fine lets apply your logic I think crosswalks are stupid I should be allowed to cross anytime I want hey if cars end up in ditches or smashing into each other so what the law is outdated and shouldn’t apply to me just because I don’t agree with it

Explaining the difference between Multiboxing and botting to some people is like explaining the difference between an apple and a orange to a snail.

My point , making more money than a single account can per month is abusive behavior in the same amount of time

Hey bud, i’m sorry to say Blizzard won’t do anything about botting and here is why. In order for someone to bot, they have to spend money on multiple accounts, which is more money for Blizzard. The same problem has existed in Overwatch since the dawn of it’s beginnings. It has been the #1 problem facing that game and why so many people left, because in that game it creates smurfs. Smurfs are basically people who buy multiple accounts so that they can throw and play in way lower brackets so they dominate and ruin other people’s enjoyment while they have fun.
The problem is botting creates too much money for Blizzard, in relation to the botting problem in Overwatch I actually sent Jeff Kaplan a message with the accounts of what transpired in one of my games, where we were playing at mid Diamond that is about the top 7% of players, and we had a top 500 smurf who solo our entire team by himself. We all said well this game isn’t fun and we just left, took the penalty and said f it.
As long as it makes Blizzard more money, they aren’t going to take action. And what is sad is the fix is actually super easy. All you need to do to fix it is limit one account only to one ISP address. So essentially if someone buys like 6 accounts only one of them will run from their home internet, they would have to play at a friends house or an internet cafe which is possible but as you could see would make it far harder for them.

yeah well that sounds like a YOU problem but of course if it makes you feel better go ahead and blame the professional player for outfighting your entire team

it happens in WoW too ive seen bear druids and prot warriors tear thru multiple players alone but I guess theyre cheating too and Blizzard should ban them as well

are you insane?

Which “single account” should be the baseline for that? I’ve already posted the amount I’ve made in the past 30 days. Is 240k gold in a month too high or too low? Where should the bar be set?

Blizzard regularly bans bots. It’s always fun reading about the people who swear up and down that they never did anything wrong.

It’s not purely making money for a single account, though. The potential for 5 players acting like 1 multiboxer is there for everyone. They can make gold the exact same way. You are more than welcome to get 4 friends to follow you around and do what you say & pay you gold for it. Good luck getting that to happen, but it’s not impossible.

Multiboxing makes things easier for those that pay for it. (Easier in some areas. Multiboxing does bring a lot of it’s own, unique issues.)
