Ban multiboxing

I saw a multiboxer last night. I thought cool a multiboxer!

People with single accounts buy tokens too…
Also, it’s not like if a player is collecting 5x the resources that they spend only 1/5 of it to maintain all 5 accounts. Each account pretty much pays for itself. Most gold they make goes right back into the account if they’re buying tokens.
It costs my friend 750k gold a month to maintain her accounts.

I only got isboxer last year. From wod up til end of legion when they nerfed dungeons. I would carry a level toon through old dungeons to level them. That’s multiboxing and it doesn’t require software.

I take it you’ve been cheated on a lot in your life.

ITT: people that don’t know the definition of words

If it’s not against the rules, it’s not cheating.

well to them the definition doesn’t matter, to them it is feelings over facts kinda thing.

Those “rules” are irrelevant. They are an arbitrary code of conduct put in place by the company to monitoring of the playerbase easier. The FACT is that multiboxing is an exploitation of game mechanics. PERIOD. REFUTE THIS, I DARE YOU, CHEATER

Shock horror i was right, definitions don’t matter.

What game mechanics are exploited by having a carry toon on 2nd account?

Multiboxing is fine.
Botting is not.

Multiboxers will rarely have much of an effect on anything.
BOTTERS on the other hand have a huge effect.

Gonna be hard to argue against a wall of emotion like yours. Fact is, is that if you want to ban third-party software to make things fair, then you have to get the same computer + computer-peripherals + internet as me.

from most people adamant about this it’s the fact you can have multiple characters and do things normally more difficult for someone with only a single character.
I don’t know either.
People without friends don’t like other people having the ability to play with themselves and thus not be forced to play with them.

Nothing is stopping them from getting a 2nd account and leveling alts.

The fact is that, by definition, multiboxing is not cheating because it does not break any of those rules.

True, but they consider it cheating remember it’s a (word?) thing for them.

Anyone can choose what is cheating and what isn’t to them. That’s subjective.

Just like Daddy Blizzard choosing that Multiboxing isn’t cheating.

I’ll just take four turns on my monopoly board since I’m the one that bought it

Realistically, nobody will want to play with me, but someone somewhere will defend my actions.

oh look someone has appointed themselves the official “hall monitor” for Blizzard I wonder if he has a badge too?

Sure, but how many multiboxers use a third party software to multibox? Which is against the ToS.

That’s not how it works though. I could say that people with three letter names feels like cheating, but that doesn’t mean anything.
