Dude, I played Wrath when it came out. I still have the BOX the disc came in. I know what they go to in Wrath. I do not need no crap linked on the internet to tell me what they went to. But hey, dont listen to me. In a few months you will see for yourself and then you will know I am right.

Very cool! Memory is still hazy on my end. I guess i was so used to all subsequent expacs where they effed them over each time for not being usable in the new content.

Think its the exp gains that stop at 70
Wrath heirlooms will scale and give their xp bonus until level 80.
In cata, new heirlooms are added with the guild achievement stuff. During this time, the new heirlooms scale to level 85, but the wrath ones remain level 80.
In MOP, they try something new with heirlooms and add multiple BOA items from world drops/archeology in MOP that can be sent to alts for use from 85-90. These items do not have xp bonuses and the current heirlooms available still stop at level 80 for the wrath ones and level 85 for the ones added in CATA.
In WOD, the heirlooms tab is added and all new heirlooms that you purchase now start at level 60. (if you had them already they stay where they are) and they add the ability to upgrade the old heirlooms to scale to level 100, but you need to purchase upgrade items to level them from level 60-90 using gold/honor/seals/darkmoon tickets and then from 90-100 using a few thousand gold.
