Ban GDKPs In All But A Couple Cata Servers

Counter point, they didn’t need a “testing ground” when banning the advertisement of carries in retail through the group finder in 2018, or when they outright banned these services in 2022.

RMT is not an experiment or a test. It is a known violation of the TOS. If GDKPs truly are an integral part of RMT, then it would be the same across all versions where GDKPs exist, which is across multiple classic versions. Banning it in one as a “test” under the notion that it violates the TOS, but refusing to ban it in other versions makes no logical sense.

It doesn’t feel like a fight against RMT. It feels like a fight for traditional pugs under the shield of being anti-RMT.

I’m just saying why I think they’re doing it that’s all.

GDKPs are the main support for RMT. You type a lot to gaslight around this point. The largest sums of gold are dropped in GDKPs. GDKPs setup deals in Discords and not in game…I wonder why? GDKPs organize min bids for items across servers in Discords. GDKP Discords charge GDKP organizers to list their GDKP in GDKP Discords. GDKPs sell positions in their main raids for loot. GDKP organizers routinely go to private msgs in Discord to arrange payments that do not involve gold.

GDKPs sure go through a lot of effort to run “totally legit not RMT raids”.

We get it, you like RMT, just like the other people who have to interject themselves in every GDKP thread despite the fact it is blatantly obvious GDKPs are completely funded by RMT and ran for RMT purposes.

Be less degenerate.

Sure but you’re also ignoring the other reasons people RMT. AH, vendors and Arena are all reasons one would RMT but you’re ignoring those reasons why? Is it because you think that GDKP is such a big RMT magnet that 80% of all RMT will stop if they’re banned?

There’s more reason to RMT for the auction house than there is to in GDKP’s, why? Because you’re access to GDKP raids is once a week while you have access to the AH at all times. You can spend much more in the AH than you would in a GDKP.

Sure.

Because doing it in-game is pointless, it’s much eaiser to set events up on Discord.

Even if they do so what? Min bid 5k for tokens, 1k for most other items, Smourne frags going 5k per. It’s good to set min prices, gets things going quicker.

What GDKP’s do you know of that don’t have their own server, why would any organizer pay to have their GDKP advertised, do you honestly believe that there’s this whole company sub-culture in GDKP’s?

Why would they do that? Makes no sense.

And you know this how exactly? Are you going to tell me that you were once a GDKP organizer, did those things but one day you saw the light and are now fighting the good fight against those you once played with?

Also that offer is still on the table, if you want me to give you some tips on how to make some gold then I’ll tell you. Though it does involve getting TSM so I’d like to know your stance on that before I’ll tell you anything. Some people think TSM is botting so I’m curious if you’re one of those people (they’re wrong obviously).

Source - Trust me bro

Still haven’t answered my question. If RMT is such a necessity for GDKPs, and Blizzard believes this, then why was it only banned in a sub game of a sub game, and none of the other properties?

Be less of a mongrel drooler.

Of course, if he believes the other reasons are small in comparison. For example I hate Trump and discuss it often on other sites. But I never talk about him moving the US embassy to Jerusalem. It was a dumb move, he gave a huge propaganda coup to Netanyahu for nothing. He could have gotten several major concessions for the move but the so called greatest deal maker just gave it away for free. But compared to all the other problems with Trump this mistake is trivial so I don’t discuss it. So also if someone believes the other sources of rmt are trivial they might consider them too small to discuss. I’m not saying his position is correct but his choice to only discuss gdkps makes sense if he believes it’s by far the main source of rmt.

What the chronically online above are trying to do is called gaslighting. They’ll ignore the context of the argument and try and derail it in an attempt to evoke a “gotcha” moment.

do we really need another skyfury situation?
