Classic is dead, move on with yourself. It has more RMT than Retail and it’s all done through Discord.
Simple, ban all Discord links and force players to use in-game chat/in-game voice chat.

How is this extreme? Blizzard needs proof to ban and suspend, having everyone use in-game chat/voice chat is the perfect way to get rid of boosters/RMT as well as making more people feel involved in the Community.
So everyone has been antisocial since Vanilla? Because Teamspeak is what everyone used back then. Not much different than Discord. Then it was Ventrillo and Mumble. Also not much different than Discord.
No, in game communities killed in game communities. They were poorly implemented and destroyed guild permissions.

Since they’re all forced to use in-game comms, they can be moderated and weeded out if they try to bypass it.
Discord is miles ahead of all those VOIP in terms of servers, appearance and accessibility.
Discord alone made the RMT/Boosting scene more money than any of those other ones combined due to how easy it is to access and join.
In-Game Comms should be the ONLY method of communication allowed.

Did you ever stop to ask why are people using discord for RMT? … or why RMT is so much worse than it has ever been? I realize I’m probably posting in a troll thread but the problem isn’t discord; it’s RMT and understanding why so many are flocking to it is a better way to cut the impact it has.
You can do all of that in-game too.

Not as well as Discord does. And it would more than likely take away from other things.
I wonder,what would wow be without social media .This downward spiral really started from it ,the cheating, the racial hate and others came from this medium.
