Yup, TSM just enables kids to use a cookie clicker low tier autoclicker to turn it into a fully fledged bot. It needs to go.
Here is “Exhibit A” of that happening https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UgkNRlY_ksU
Check target of target every 50 seconds, starting at the 10 second mark and skipping timestamps by 50s.

Alternatively or in addition to restricting the AH APIs, Blizzard could also implement a captcha challenge whenever bot like behavior is detected.
Or they hide in chromie time STV, which they already do. I’ve seen up to a dozen toons present at once in chromie time’d booty bay. I sent a lvl 47 tank toon down there a while ago just to gank the NPC in chromie time, and within a hot a second a lvl 10 toon autoclicked the cushion toy staying up top of the crate where the ah npc is supposed to be, for a full hour.
the heck is a bus, and which picture is it in?
Are you asking what a captcha is or when to issue one?
Yea that’s true. I forgot about CT. A lot of shenanigans go on in CT that is hidden from like 90% of the playerbase. A lot of people also use CT to farm the timeless isle for Huolon.
bruh, this somehow went over your head. I’m sure in a few days it will click.
Oh, you’re trying to meme. I was being in a serious mood, so interjecting a joke/play on words threw me off with what you were trying to ask. I thought you were pointing out a typo, when I noticed I didn’t do so.

That is a picture of chromie time STV/booty bay.
Tells you all you need to know.
You shouldn’t be able to cancel an auction someone has bid on and its still baffling they haven’t changed that. But there is no reason to disable AH addons. The people with millions of gold are still going to undercut you and list things at a loss because they have millions of gold and can afford to eat the losses. Removing the addons just hurts you and not them
An MMO called Spiral Knights made the deposit fee hurt hard. Also didn’t allow cancels on items with active bids.
Irregardless, a captcha challenge that’s issued when bot-like patterns are detected, would majorly solve this.
Ok sure, if you do this I want Armory to be private, and achievements so you can’t link them anymore. So that way it breaks certain addons that will not be named.
Is it a stalker addon that tracks who people are and when they’re on?
Because someone consistently does that to one of my toons, trying to reset the items I’m selling when it logs off. Little do they know I’m usually logging to go to my storage toon or am on my other account when that happens.
So you’re admitting theres not actually a problem with addons, thanks.
I will never understand why people get so defensive about addons. Are they like service dogs, or something?
I know there are bots, because i will have green transmogs from old dungeons. I will post, and its instantly undercut by several times. If I keep posting, it mindlessly undercuts to the point where it would even be cheaper to VENDOR the transmog than sell it. This NEVER happened until about 9.1.5 in SL. SOmething happened that made bots work. SOme loophole. EVen when people were farming for gold in BFA for the Brutasaur AH mount, the Auction houses were totally doable. I literally cannot sell anything on the AH anymore unless I spend hours and hours cancelling and reposting. I used to be able to put something up for 12 hrs or 24, and it could sell. Well, that can never happen anymore. At least not on US Stormrage. And I see bots all out in the open world, secretly on the AH in jungles, if you approach them and talk, they don’t respond. At least if there were 100 bots in SW, you could freaking SEE them and report. Now, you have no idea where they are. THis is definitly a real problem. But BLizzard doesn’t care, because the answer is what I have to do: BUY GOLD from them to afford flasks and gear. They realize the bots are forcing people to take this ruote and they are fine with it.

I will never understand why people who don’t understand how something works will try to comment on them as if they do.
Regardless of whether I’m for or against addons, you clearly shouldn’t be making comments saying “people shouldn’t have that information” when that information is being broadcast by the game and the addons are just helping you access it.
Again, if you don’t understand how addons work, just say that. It’ll make you easier to ignore because you are clearly speaking from an uniformed position.
How could Blizz close down a 3rd party site that does not break their ToS or remotely have to do anything with the game directly? They cant.
ban all draenei floozies.
