Bald man protests against bots

This is why I hate the forums. Yall are fine with bots and multi-boxers but hate people who play the game.

Explain how it happens otherwise when there was a literal experiment done to test its first iteration with legion (obviously since mid-2016 it has gone under revisions).

And just how is spamming the report function on bots, a bad thing?

it’s entirely possible to multibox without breaking any rules… i feel like this shouldn’t still need to be explained at this point.

sad people can’t even agree to hate bots just cause they don’t like the guy who says bots are bad.

You’re conflating bots with multiboxers. Bots are against the rules. Multiboxers aren’t, just some software used for it. That doesn’t make miltiboxing illegal.

If you’re going to complain about something, at least know the rules.

It does because that rule needs to be changed.

They’re not going to chose to make less money just because you don’t want to see a conga line of boomchickens roaming the lands.

This is how I see 95% of the Asmongold fanbase.

Just an army of endless bots with no personality or considerable social life.

the squelch feature existed long before then.

it’s not.

but he didn’t ask people to report bots, he asked people to report HIM… and then feigned outrage when the inevitable happened.

feel free to stop derailing the thread at any time.

the asmonbots say a lot more slurs though

They will if it costs them money to keep boxers. Don’t fool yourself into thinking you are permanently immune.

a rule needs to be changed just because you don’t like it?

it’s a perfectly acceptable style of game play.

one which you can engage in if you choose to.

why would you want options taken away from legit players?

And so do you apparently, since you like to make accusations without backing them up.

Couldn’t people abuse/ exploit this to do the same thing a bot can do? Farm gold with multiple characters and do exactly the same things as bots?

Regardless, don’t agree with it and i don’t really understand how I’m in the minority of this argument.

Most people don’t care about them, and others even take advantage of them.

Personally, I find it really funny when I have seen those in BGs and I get to outplay them with only 2 more people.

Because the option is potentially game breaking? Why can’t you play the game without multi-boxing. Why would you need/want it other than to exploit it.

You are the one bringing up a testing of the publics testing of a supposed modification of a game feature as evidence, and derailing the conversation.

We are talking about bots and multiboxers.

Dry your tears and stop falsely claiming I am derailing you brought up a pointless part of the conversation.

a bot doesn’t need to be at the keyboard.

a multiboxer does.

a bot doesn’t fund their own characters.
(well… i mean we can see by the responses here that quite a few players use bots to fund their main accounts)
…but the vast majority of botting is done by gold sellers.

a legit multiboxer uses whatever gold they make, to gear their own characters.
they’re not on-selling it to other players and making a real-world profit as a result.

Who knew it would be a controversial opinion???

last night there was a thread complaining about “body part > item link” spam.

you should have seen all the people getting outraged at the suggestion that people report it… they wanted to argue that silencing people for vulgar chat is “censorship”.

(thread got deleted, so i guess it got heated after i went to bed)
