The idea that the game should only be balanced around one game mode at max level is lazy, entitled on the side of Trashivision/Blizzard, and the player base deserves better. We have modifiers that make abilities hit harder/softer in PVP vs PVE, why not adjust for BGs while leveling? Or just nerf certain classes, specifially MM hunters pre-level 70? BGs can and should be fun for leveling and max level… But when one specific class can two shot everyone with a farther range than any other class it’s time to make some adjustments. The “game is balanced around max level 3s” is a lazy and poor excuse.
Also, do people who play with experience turned off get put in the same BGs with people that have experience turned on?
I provided a screenshot as an example. These MM hunters can literally solo kill teams on nodes and just outrange all the DPS.
I disagree. BGs are a very fun way to level when they are not completely dominated by one broken spec. I think they would be massively more enjoyable if Blizzard would spend a tiny bit of time trying to balance. Really all they need to do is adjust MM and the leveling BGs would not be so broken.
That’s like saying you can’t balance abilities around PVP when they are already implemented one way for PVE. Simply not true and also a very lazy way of thinking if you are a developer.
They build the game around PVE… Should the balance of abilities be the same in PVE as they are in PVP? It used to be that way and there is a good reason why they changed it… Class/spec balance in different game modes. I can sheep a PVE mob infinitely… Would you like to see DR go away in PVP?
From a money stand point there missing out I know some of us put hundreds of hours into pvp leveling the slow way compared to questing when it was possible.
Saying you literally cannot is a lazy excuse. It would take a bit of effort but they absolutely can at least attempt to rather than just saying forget about it, it’s not 3s at max level. But way to keep the bar low expectations-wise for Trashivision/Blizzard.
Why is it that Blizzard “literally cannot balance classes in randoms”? I already gave you examples of how Blizzard can balance in BGs… Scale abilities differently, similarly to how they already do with PVP vs PVE at max level. Just do the same thing but put modifiers on abilities that are one/two shotting players while they level. It’s not hard to fathom.

the 5 level split was tried and of course que times went up.
having a ten level range pretty much guarantees the higher level players will have a higher ilvl, more stamina and probably a few more talent points than someone at the bottom of the bracket.
now ask yourself why should they? why should a level 10 be as strong as a level 19?

Huh? Of course, you can. There have been balancing changes made specifically for battlegrounds in the past and there was a time when people did battlegrounds and there was no arena.
They just don’t give it much priority due to “e-sports.”
Hunters are just noob stompers. Doesnt mean they are good, just most people dont know how to deal with them. Most hunters in random bgs are easy kills for me.
