Although, you’re ~270, this isn’t really helping with how proportional the damage can get.
If you haven’t tried in a while you might make a few attempts. There was a time not terribly long ago that Nythendra could still be a rough DPS check at lower ilevels, but she’s quite a bit less dangerous now than she was even a few patches back.
With Mirror, Arcane Power, Rune of Power, Presence of Mind, and Time Warp in combination with good conduits and a ST talent build you can just pop everything on the pull and burn her down well before she enrages, even at 225 without any legendaries, tier, pots, or optimal stat prioritization. Always worth another try.
This is what I didn’t bother with, maybe that’s the issue. If I think about it, I didn’t bother with the system on any character but one because how obnoxious it is.
Im 270 now, but at the start around 180s (when i started doing my weekly mog runs) the only raid thay caused issue for me was Antorus and the only boss outside of that was Gul’dan due to the winds pushback and Spellblade in Nighthold.
No the game was set up for people to earn it on each character.
Many people earned these on multiple characters. If you get them now for not doing the same work you are getting them for free.
no it is how the game is set up. The work you did on that one character entitled you to one appearance not them all just like the work you do leveling up one character doesn’t entitle you to have all your characters leveled up.
This is transmog - you don’t need it. If you don’t want to earn the reward just don’t do it. Why must you ruin the game for others because you want things for free that others worked for?
The more account wide the better. I have no desire to farm multiple alar or invincible mounts on multiple toons nor do i have the desire to refarm mogs i already got.

If they set up content this way to begin with then fine. I don’t like it because when they do that they generally make things more tedious to get the first time since it is the only time.
However, when they set up rewards to earn on each character and a bunch of people play the game that way, they shouldn’t go back and change things so the people who didn’t do it come out the winner.
Conquest, honor, and valor should be account wide. Grinding it can be a real hassle on an alt. Also renown, if youre 80 renown on your main, your alts should be 80 too.

they made it ridiculously easy to get renown on your alts - I hit 80 on them with just playing the game for a week or so.
and I am very doubtful they are ever going to make gear account wide - I don’t like wasting my time earning gear on multiple characters but there would be a whole lot of squealing happening if they let me just buy carries on one character for heroic raid gear and all my character got given heroic raid gear for ‘free’ as a consequence.
Im not saying renown isnt hard to get. But doing it for a 5th time on an alt is annoying and tiring. I dont want to go through all that again. I got other things i want to do besides grinding renown.

Changing it is fine. Hell im glad you dont have to keep grinding rep anymore just to stay at certain rep levels like how vanilla did with argent dawn.
Getting the mog, mount, pet etcetera on one toon completely justifies having it account wide. Its our accounts, why shouldn’t we have access to all that we acquired? Its not like mogs, mounts or pets contribute to power gain or gear progression. Thats why cosmetics have always been my end-game.
Bop should definitely be account wide. Doing it once given how long the process is should be enough to get it account wide. Its bad enough ill never get an easy mage tower or the mage tower skins or certain titles like the undying or hand of adaal but at the very least the others i can still get should be account wide.

I don’t even notice getting it though - it just happens. I don’t think being expected to play a character is too much to expect to get things like that.
They said the ‘account wide rep’ they are doing in Dragonflight is going to work the same way as renown does so I imagined it would just be easier on alts.
Changing it after people have devoted time to doing in on multiple characters isn’t really fine. It creates a situation where people don’t want to do any content that takes a little effort because blizzard will make it easier later.
You aren’t getting one piece of transmog if they made it account wide - you would be getting 36 or so. That is a huge amount of free stuff.
So? I still did it. Im not complaining others got wod and legion flight without pathfinder, its irrelevant.
You’re argument would have weight if we were asking for player power to be account wide but we’re not. We’re asking cosmetics, rep, things that have no effect on player power or progression.

This is actually a solid point. Those grinds were obnoxious but the game moved forward in a very good way because they removed the pathfinder requirements. You still need it though if you want to fly faster across those zones.

Why is it that player power is more important than cosmetics? To a lot of players that isn’t the case.
And if cosmetics aren’t important why do you need to have them without going to the trouble of earning them?
And as for pathfinder - you got it from just playing the game so false equivalency.
Doing something once doesn’t entitle you to every reward from that content - it entitles you to the reward agreed upon which was one class appearance.
Never said cosmetics were less important but its not tied to player power so its fine being account wide.
Theres no false equivalency at all. Pathfinder is no different than collecting stuff. We did pathfinder on one toon and got account wide flying. So farming cosmetics on one toon is enough to get it account wide.
Again nothing is stopping you personally from going toon to toon. However the rest of us want it account wide.

the appearances themselves are account wide - you just have to earn them on each class once. Once you earn them all your characters of that class can use them.
you need to read the thread if you think that is the case
sure there is - there is no reward at the end for me. I already suggested they just mail you guys all the transmog appearances in the game so you don’t have to play it and I still have a worthwhile game to play but that isn’t good enough for some. You want to deprive me of the content so you can pretend you earned it.

Balance of power being account wide hurts no one. Just like all mounts, pets and whatnot being account wide hurts no one.
