Baine logic (spoiler)

This is what you are claiming is An Ad Hominem lol.

  1. it was not directed toward anyone making any argument or the Op or anything else.
  2. I was specifically referring to myself as not being a skirt chaser.
  3. Taking offense to 2, does not make it an Ad Hominem.

I am no longer going to take part in anything that goes off topic. :+1:

The rangers don’t surrender, only the crew. You cant kill the crew, believe me I tried. Once they hit the threshold they give you the “no prisoner is worth it” line or the equivalent.

Also, killing her secret police is far from a bad thing. There is no historic context where that works out.

He didn’t kill and let some go. If you play the quest, some will kneel and say they surrender, and so Baine didn’t kill them.

They were supporting Sylvanas, and if you’re going to say Baine isn’t justified, then how about you explain or interpret the fact that Sylvanas ordered assassins to kill an entire town full of Night Elves

But what about what someone else did?!?! We are not talking about anyone else we are talking about what Baine did. You do understand that he was the attacker and the crew was defending their ship?

Their ship? What? Is the Forsaken their own faction now?

No, but I’m curious on your stance over Sylvanas.

And you do understand that was a military ship, correct? They’re not innocent.

Considering Thrall, the epitome of Orcish honor, just flat out killed Garrosh in a mak’gora in the most spectacular way through his shaman magic, i think that goes out of the window.

Thrall cheated tbh

No he didn’t.

You understand that a crew had a ship? You understand that he was attacking “their ship”? It seems all you are after is to go off topic.

You said it like Baine had no right to be on it. Let alone attack it.

How about when he has a 100% guarantee that the Alliance will not just gank the Horde while they’re dealing with Sylvanas? Not necessarily co-operation, but at least a truce…which could lead to the teased Alliance division.

Irrelevant, she is not part of this conversation.

You do understand that if you go and kill a few dozen of YOUR own military that you are still guilty of murder?

Edit: Also at the end Baine says “Nobody can know you were here”. How does that work if he let people go?

Well ya, the spirits had issues with him for awhile because of it. Still, Sylvanas would cheat as well. That said, WoW powerlevels are clearly based on plot and not built of lore so assuming X cant defeat Y in any WoW plot is just depending way to much on the lore, and the writers just dont do that.

The rule of cool jumped the shark this xpac with the magic boat and all the fan fair that came with it.

You cant use armor in a mak’gora, both sides need a witness, and you can only use one weapon.

Even if you argue that shaman magic doesnt count as a second weapon, Garrosh had no witness and Thrall was wearing armor.

The Doomhammer even abandoned Thrall over it.

Didn’t have a right to attack it? Are you serious? Also go ahead and try and just randomly board (let alone attack) any ship you want.

possibly but ill point out he broke the rules in a alternate timeway and the elements he is connected to still kicked him to the curb. regardless in the scenario im suggesting if she cheats she would lose the majority of the hordes support right there and she cant kill everybody . she would have no horde at that point .

A group of mages came together and made an entire city fly. The most powerful mage on the planet, empowered by the essence of Aman’thul, making one ship fly isnt that unheard of.

He could be. But he is just as distrustful of the humans, for obvious reasons. I guess we will see how they decided to try and payoff this plot line, I’m just not expecting much. Between the start of the Ashenvale invasion to the Jailbreak of Talanji my expectations of a good payoff is at an all time low. Seems like established written personalities of major characters get ignored for contrivance of where they want the plot to go. The lines they gave Saurfang in the prison were all sorts of nonsensical, specially in line with the honor talk.

Just really weird dialogue choices.

What does this have to do with cheating? You consider a tunic, made of cloth, as “armor”?

Magic is allowed in Mak’gora.

So his magic is counted as a second weapon but not fists? That’s a reach.

No it didn’t lol. Thrall sunk into personal despair and he couldn’t connect with the elements anymore.
