Sorry, I just didn’t think anyone could be this petty and simple-minded. No wonder the story sucks, people will lick up whatever brainless trash they feed us. The war doesn’t need to have compelling motivations behind it or complex characters, we just need a mindless war to kill Alliance for… reasons.

That has literally nothing to do with wether the Horde can function as a political institution beyond maybe the ability of member states being able to reign in the power of a Warchief.
This issue here isn’t what the horde has done but how the horde deals with itself. This is the second time the horde has had some form of political turmoil and both times the only way to actually do anything to resolve it has been to commit acts of rebellion. That is the sign of a political institution which isn’t functional. Once could be seen as a mistake. Twice indicates systemic issues.
This seems to be the thing everyone is ignoring here. Having to resort to rebellion every time the horde has internal disagreements just shows the horde as a dud institution. There is not point in fighting for something which is going to collapse on itself every time your not babysitting it.
This is the thing that irritates me more about this MoP rehash than anything else. It shows the Horde as being politically incompetent. We aren’t champions of the Horde. We are its babysitters, cleaning up after the constant messes it makes and dramas it causes.

Some of the dialogue mentions the growing divide in the Horde since Teldrassil.
It’s not a huge mention but it implies some resentment existed.

Lor’themar mentions it afterwards, saying it was the beginning of the Horde’s current division.
It’s incredibly backwards. If there was any grit to this story, Sylvanas committing genocide and destroying the Horde’s honor forever would have been their Darkspear Rebellion moment.

You can have war without the writing being trash and intentionally made to make your players hate one another.

Why don’t mages just send an assassin through a portal after the opposite faction’s leader while they’re on the can or asleep? Shoot an arrow through the portal don’t even send a person.
