Baine Bloodhoof is a loser

Its still not Sunday.

You’re trying real hard to backpedal now.

When someone says they are American what does that contextually mean? 100% of the time it means they are from the states.

Well, I thought if you were referring to North and South America people usually just called it Americas (plural I guess). When people say America, I think USA.

It’s wagyu beef…

I will have to look that up, never heard of it. Ohh, supposed to be high end cuts of beef.

Well now, Baine is certainly NOT wagyu grade… Pffft

I don’t mind baine himself, but when they turned him from a “i am trying to cultivate friendships” to → “i hate myself…am scared” in SL’s to-> “i am a complete and utter racist and will kill centaurs any chance i get cus am scared” but also in the same story line “i wuv woo, and am less scare”

It’s hard to like him simply because of the writing.

PS. i made quite the summary, but he hasnt had decent story for like 6 years+

Hey, I like Baine. He did a brave and dangerous thing, helping Jaina with her brother who was raised from the dead. What he said to her was beautiful and poignant.

Just think of this, over the course of years you personally (story wise) have saved the entire planet multiple times, the big names like Jaina and Thrall are going to know who you personally are.

Of course this post was flagged. How is this upsetting to people? It’s the truth.

They tried this during Dragonflight and ended up making him look like an irrational idiot.

I’ll need to look into that part, because I could have sworn the player has to take the oath when they arrive on the Borean Tundra (a little after Garrosh spits on you), and then have the Taunka take the oath later on.

Our real leaders are locked away behind secret service and the Queens guard and such , so we don’t get to see they are mere mortals like us and have problems like everybody else.
This thing with the recent president stepping down, was maybe the first time every body in this generation saw one in crisis.

The wow leaders aren’t gods either and it just disappoints some people.

Sounds to me like the kind of mental problems you would expect from someone who had gone though a traumatic POW experience giving them PTSD. So given Baine’s situation I don’t see it as bad writing.

Now if you don’t like the fact that they put Baine through that causing his situation then that’s a different matter.

Centaurs → kill his family and people = Bad

Alliance → actively kill his people in wars = lets be friendwy and lovey dovey Stop the fighting UwU

its the lack of consistency really. Take this dude who has been a stalwart ally for all things good and honest, truth above all and forming friendships and unity throughout his time as chief between the alliance and horde, even in the face of certain demise and being labeled a traitor during BFA.

to being a complete racist and tyrant towards the centaur and distancing himself from them in any capacity, until we can get him to come to terms with his feelings of hatred and doubt. and STILL he has to “get over things” IDK man :dracthyr_shrug:

Cuz he was the son of Cairne. And that one was good friends with Thrall. Baine will never measure up to what he was.

Sure, others could lead, I just want a tauren who actually does something and isn’t passive aggressive. Literally the only thing I asked for from Magatha is her to be the council that tells Baine to not be such a push over.

Like murder? Again, you make no sense.

Maybe we should have one of the Kor’kron that murdered a whole bunch of pandas lead you guys because “they have backbones.”

Maybe Genn and Baine can go give each other backrubs.

Yeah sure sometimes people die. Like still not looking for anyone perfect, but someone who moves the story, anyone that makes tension would be nice.

I play and have mained tauren and Taran Zhu surprisingly is a conflicted character with flaws who does things, who acts. I’ve also talked about what I like about Baine in this thread, so like guess I didn’t like him the right way? Sorry?

I get it now. You’re trolling me, right?

I don’t care if you like Baine or not. We’re talking about your inane suggestion that someone that murdered a bunch of tauren, including Cairne, should now lead the tauren because “she has a backbone.”

Not forgiven.

Where did I ever say this? My first post again was Baine needs to stop being such a pushover and the first time he ever showed initiative was with taking Thunderbluff back. Baine didn’t wait for others, he didn’t go to Magatha asking her to stop, he finally did something, his hands were held to the fire. There was conflict and he finally did something about it.

Take it way over future conflicts like there are peons uprising somewhere and Baine just can’t be bothered to solve it. There are some Alliance killing his people, oh nooo, well they are good people deep down best not fight them. The way Baine leads would of made sure the Centaur finished the Tauren off.
